Title:ANALIZA KAKOVOSTI TRENERSKEGA NOGOMETNEGA IZOBRAŽEVANJA V DRŽAVAH POD OKRILJEM EVROPSKE NOGOMETNE ZVEZE (UEFA)

Abstract:Uspeh nogometnega trenerja na najkonkurenčnejšem športnem področju je v pretežni meri odvisen od pojma kakovosti. Lahko govorimo o kakovosti moštva oziroma kluba, ki mu pripada trener, igralcih in ostalem strokovnem osebju, funkcionarjih, ne nazadnje tudi navijačih, ki so vključeni v nogometno sfero določenega okolja. Pričujoče diplomsko delo svojo pozornost namenja analizi kakovosti trenerskega nogometnega izobraževanja na teritoriju Evrope s posebno pozornostjo na slovensko različico. Trenersko nogometno izobraževanje je pod okriljem Evropske nogometne zveze (UEFA) natančno opredeljeno in podrejeno kriterijem kakovosti v trenerski konvenciji. Poglobljena analiza treh temeljnih trenerskih diplom (UEFA B, UEFA A, UEFA PRO) med drugim obsega pretežen del diplomskega dela. V prvem delu se diplomsko delo osredotoča na predstavitev teoretičnih zasnov skozi raziskavo gradiva različnih avtorjev, povezanih s pojmi kakovost storitve in kakovost v izobraževanju. V nadaljevanju praktičnega dela sta na osnovi predstavitve organizacije UEFA-e in trenerstva v kontekstu Evropske nogometne zveze prikazana dva izobraževalna modela. Prvi se veže na Slovenijo, medtem ko drugi natančno opiše belgijsko verzijo trenerskega izobraževanja. Relativna primerjava je ključen del diplomskega dela in prikaže na raznolikosti v modelih kljub skupnemu temelju, ki ga predstavlja UEFA trenerska konvencija. Skozi primerjavo obeh predstavljenih izobraževalnih modelov, detajlne raziskave trenerske konvencije na pobudo Evropske nogometne zveze in osebne praktične izkušnje avtorja-diplomskega dela smo prišli do predlogov, ki bi kakovost trenerskega kadra in s tem posledično večjo konkurenčnost Slovenskega nogometa pripeljala na zavidljivo raven. Le-ta se v športu običajno meri v obliki kakovostnih rezultatov oziroma uvrstitev ter uspehov na najprestižnejših globalnih tekmovanjih.

Title:ANALYSIS OF THE QUALITY OF FOOTBALL COACHING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM UNDER UNION OF EUROPEAN FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION (UEFA)
Abstract:Football is one of the most competitive sport disciplines. Success of a football coach is highly dependent on quality — quality of a team or a club and its members (players, management, and support staff), even fans, who form local football community. This diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the quality of football coach training and education in Europe, particularly on a Slovene version. Football coach education under the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) is thoroughly defined and in accordance with the quality criteria of a coaching convention. A detailed analysis of the three coaching diplomas (UEFA B, UEFA A, and UEFA PRO) is outlined in this thesis. First part of the diploma thesis seeks to presents a theoretical foundation by the means of investigating prior studies reported by various authors that have focused on service quality and quality in education. The second, practical part focuses on the presentation of two main educational models. Organisation of UEFA and coaching in the context of the Association are explained. Among presented and outlined educational models, one is focused on the Slovenia, whereas the second one offers a detailed description of the Belgian coach education. Relative comparison is the focal point of this diploma thesis. In this regard, various differences between the models are identified and discussed irrespective of the fact that both models have common foundations, namely UEFA coaching convention. Based on the comparison of the two presented educational models, based on detailed research of the UEFA coaching convention, and based on practical experience of the author of this thesis, a list of proposals on how to bring the quality of the coaching staff and consequently quality of football in Slovenia to the highest level is presented. In sports, quality and success are typically measured in top-quality results and placings at prestigious global competitions.
