Abstract:

Title:
AUTOMATION OF CNC MACHINE TURRET HEAD WITH ASYNCHRONOUS MOTOR
Abstract:
The diploma wok describes the automation process of a turret head for a CNC machine. Automation was carried out in terms of selecting the hardware, device configuration, and controller programming. For the correct operation of a CNC machine with a turret head, we wrote software for the programmable logical controller in the SIMATIC STEP 7 standard software package. By using the HMI PRO program, we configured the appearance of a control panel to facilitate human-machine communication. In the end, we carried out a commissioning and a successful test of the turret head operation.
