Title:Valji za trening kolesarjev z ventilatorjem

Abstract:V okviru magistrskega dela smo razvili valje za trening kolesarjev z aksialnim ventilatorjem, gnanim neposredno z uporabnikovo močjo. Ventilator opravlja funkcijo hlajenja uporabnika, obenem pa nudi dodatni upor pri kolesarjenju. Naprava vključuje tudi druge dodatne mehanizme, kot sta magnetna zavora in sistem longitudinalnega nihanja. Glavnina dela je posvečena karakteristikam naprave in karakteristikam ventilatorja, ki smo jih izmerili na izdelanem prototipu. Pri meritvah smo testirali dva različna rotorja ventilatorja. Na podlagi izmerjenih karakteristik in konstrukcijskih značilnosti posameznega rotorja smo se nato odločili za ustreznejšega. Rezultate izmerjene pogonske moči kolesarja smo uporabili za izračun energijskih bilanc za različne možne načine uporabe naprave. Izvedli smo tudi primerjavo pogonske moči kolesarja pri vožnji na napravi z močjo, potrebno pri vožnji v naravi. Ugotovili smo, da pogonska moč kolesarja na napravi pri priključenem ventilatorju zelo dobro sovpada z močjo pri vožnji v naravi po ravnini, dodatna magnetna zavora pa omogoča tudi simulacijo razmer pri vožnji v klanec. Na koncu smo glede na proizvodne stroške in želeno maržo izračunali še lastno in prodajno ceno našega izdelka in ugotovili, da je naša naprava konkurenčna v srednjem cenovnem razredu naprav, trenutno dostopnih na trgu.

Title:Bicycle rollers with fan
Abstract:Within the framework of the master thesis, we developed bicycle rollers with axial fan, driven directly from users power. The fan provides cooling of the user and offers additional resistance by riding bicycle. The device also includes other additional mechanisms, such as a magnetic brake and a system of longitudinal oscillation. The major part of the thesis is devoted to the characteristics of the device and the characteristics of the fan, which were measured on a manufactured prototype. We tested two different fan rotors. Based on the measured characteristics and the construction of each rotor, we chose more appropriate one. The results of the measured pedaling power of the cyclist were used to calculate energy balances for a variety of different uses of the device. We also compared the pedaling power of the cyclist by riding on the rollers with the pedaling power required for cycling in nature. We determined that the pedaling power on the device by connected fan is very similar with power by riding in nature on the flat terrain. By addition of the magnetic brake we can simulate conditions by riding uphill in nature. In the end, we calculated the own and the selling price of the device, dependent on production costs and desired profit margin. We found out, that our device is competitive in the middle price range of devices, currently available on the market.
