Title:Ugotavljanje vpliva različnega nastilja na proizvodne rezultate piščancev brojlerjev

Abstract:Cilj raziskave je bil ugotoviti vpliv različne vrste nastilja na proizvodne rezultate piščancev brojlerjev. Proučevali smo vpliv vrste nastilja na prirast piščancev, porabo krme, vode, doseženo konverzijo, relativno vlago, koncentracijo NH3 in CO2, poškodbe nog, tarzalnih sklepov in prsi. Raziskavo smo izvedli na povprečno 18270 živali, vhlevljenih v vsakega od petih enakih hlevov. V hlevu 5 in 6 smo uporabili sekano slamo (skupina Sekana slama), v hlevu 7 in 8 smo uporabili lignocel combi plus (skupina Lignocel) in v hlevu 9 žagovino (skupina Žagovina). Na kontrolne dneve smo individualno opazovali 1 % vhlevljenih živali v posameznem hlevu na opisane parametre v skladu z normativi o dobrobiti živali. Ugotovili smo, da so piščanci najbolje priraščali v skupini Žagovina. Ugotovljena je statistična značilna (P ≤ 0,05) razlika od ostalih dveh skupin. Skupina Žagovina doseže najvišji koeficient učinkovitosti 309. Konverzija je najvišja v skupini Sekana slama 1,79 kg najmanjša v skupini Lignocel 1,72 kg. Poškodb nožnih blazinic in tarzalnih sklepov je bilo tekom celotne vzreje najmanj v skupini Žagovina, največ pa v skupini Sekana slama. Pri nobeni skupini ni poškodb na prsih. Na 35. dan se je pokazala značilna (P ≤ 0,05) razlika v izmerjeni prisotnosti NH3. V izmerjeni vlagi nismo izsledili odstopanj med skupinami. Po odvzetem vzorcu gnoja se je izkazalo, da so najvišje vsebnosti v skupini Sekana slama, najmanjše pa v skupini Žagovina. Na osnovi dobljenih rezultatov se je za najprimernejši nastilj pokazala Žagovina.

Title:Determinatig the influence of various types of litter on production results of broilers
Abstract:The purpose of the research was to determine the influence of different types of bedding on boiler chicken production results. We examined the influence of bedding on chicken growth rate, water use, feed consumption, conversion rate, relative humidity, NH3 and CO2 concentration, and injuries to legs, tarsal joints and breast. The research was conducted on average on 18270 housed animals in each of the five similar chicken coops. Coops 5 and 6 (group "Straw") were bedded with straw. Lignocel combi plus was used as the bedding in coops 7 and 8 (group "Lignocel"). As for coop 9 (group "Sawdust"), it was bedded with sawdust. On each control day we individually observed 1 % of the housed animals in each coop according to the said parameters and relevant norms for animal welfare. Our findings indicate that chicken growth rate was the best in the group "Sawdust"; we observed a statistically significant difference (P ≤ 0.05) compared to the remaining two groups. In addition, this group also attained the highest efficiency coefficient of 309. The conversion rate was the highest in the group "Straw" at 1.79 kg and the lowest in the group "Lignocel" at 1.72 kg. Tarsal joint and foot injuries throughout the rearing process were the least common in the group "Sawdust" and the most common in the group "Straw". None of the groups experienced breast injuries. A difference (P ≤ 0.05) in NH3 levels in the air was detected on day 35. There were no discrepancies among the groups in terms of humidity in the coop. The sampled chicken manure showed the highest concentrations in the group "Straw" and the lowest in the group "Sawdust". The research results indicate that sawdust is the most appropriate type of bedding.
