Abstract:Tema diplomskega dela je poslovni proces reševanja škod in reorganizacija škodnega procesa v zavarovalnici. Namen diplomskega dela je prikaz prenovljenih poslovnih procesov na področju škod v zavarovalnici in prikaz njihovih učinkov. Prikazali smo, kakšen vpliv je imela reorganizacija in optimizacija poslovanja na procese reševanja škod v zavarovalnici. Poslovni proces je opredeljen kot skupek logično povezanih izvajalskih in nadzornih postopkov in aktivnosti, katerih posledica oziroma izid je načrtovani izdelek ali storitev. Reorganizacija pomeni preurejanje, vnašanje sprememb, naredimo jo takrat, ko nismo zadovoljni z veljavno organizacijsko strukturo ali s pretokom podatkov. Pri optimizaciji gre za kombinacijo racionalizacije in reorganizacije, saj z optimizacijo odpravljamo različne administrativne in tehnološke ovire in poenostavljamo procese dela. Racionalizacija je rezultat optimizacije in pomeni pocenitev poslovanja. V praktičnem delu naloge so predstavljeni procesi pri reševanju avtomobilskih škod v določeni zavarovalnici pred in po reorganizaciji v družbi. Iz prikazane neposredne primerjave procesov so razvidni učinki reorganizacije.

Title:BUSINESS PROCESS OF CLAIMS HANDLING AND CLAIMS REORGANIZATION PROCESS IN INSURANCE COMPANY
Abstract:Graduation thesis topic is business process of claims settlement and reorganization of the claims handling process in insurance company. Purpose of the graduation thesis is to show the redesigned business processes in the area of claims handling in the insurance company and to show their effects. We have demonstrated the impact of reorganization and optimization on the business processes of claims handling. The business process is defined as a set of logically related executive and supervisory procedures and activities which result or outcome is planned product or service. The reorganization means rearranging, making changes, and it is done when we are not satisfied with the current organizational structure or the flow of the data. Optimization is a combination of rationalization and reorganization, as the optimization eliminates a variety of administrative and technological barriers and simplifies work processes. Rationalization is the result of optimization and represents reduction of operational costs. In the practical part of the thesis we present the comparison of processes of automobile claims handling in a particular insurance company before and after the reorganization. Presented direct comparison of processes shows the effects of the reorganization.
