Title:PROBLEMATIKA ADSORBLJIVIH ORGANSKIH HALOGENOV IN TENZIDOV V ODPADNIH VODAH ZDRAVSTVENE DEJAVNOSTI

Abstract:Odpadna voda je onesnažena voda, ki nastaja zaradi človekovega (antropogenega) vpliva pri uporabi vode v gospodinjstvu, na kmetijskih farmah, v gospodarskih objektih, industriji in pri spiranju utrjenih površin ob dežju. Neočiščene odpadne vode so pretežni razlog onesnaženja tako površinskih kot podtalnih virov pitnih voda zaradi slabe biokemijske razgradljivosti, kopičenja v organizmih in sedimentih ter strupenosti za ljudi in okolje. Pri tem zavzemajo pomembno mesto detergenti, prav tako pa tudi tista organska onesnažila, ki s klorom ali drugimi halogenimi elementi tvorijo adsorbljive organske halogene (AOX). Namen magistrske naloge je določiti AOX-e in tenzide v odpadni vodi Splošne bolnišnice Celje na dveh iztokih, poiskati povezavo vsebnosti AOX-ov in tenzidov z zasedenostjo oziroma obremenjenostjo Splošne bolnišnice Celje z bolniki in njihovimi preiskavami, narediti povezavo s količino in vrsto uporabljenih čistilnih sredstev, dezinfekcijskih sredstev ter količino naročenih in uporabljenih farmacevtikov, ki bi bili lahko izvor za nastale AOX-e in tenzide v odpadni vodi ter predpostaviti možnosti njihovega zmanjšanja v odpadnih vodah. Rezultati so poklazali, da AOX-i ne presegajo mejnih vrednosti v odpadni vodi, medtem ko jih vsota tenzidov presega na iztoku odpadne vode nastale pri opravljanju zdravstvene dejavnosti. Ugotovili smo, da v Splošni bolnišnici Celje uporabljajo različna sredstva, ki vsebujejo tenzide in bi bilo potrebno še marsikaj narediti na področju zbiranja podatkov o naročenih in uporabljenih čistilnih sredstvih, sprotnega servisiranja čistilnih strojev, razmisliti o priložnosti za uvedbo nove tehnologije strojev in naprav v pralnici Splošne bolnišnice Celje ter o postopkih čiščenja odpadne vode na iztoku V1, kjer nastaja odpadna voda iz zdravstvene dejavnosti.

Title:PROBLEMS OF ADSORBABLE ORGANIC HALOGENS AND SURFACTANS IN WASTE WATERS OF HEALTH CARE
Abstract:Waste water is polluted water caused by human (anthropogenic) use of water in households, on farms, in various outbuildings, in industry and when washing different surfaces. Polluted waste waters cause pollution of surface as well as underground sources of drinking water. It happens due to poor biochemical degradability, accumulation in organisms and sediments and due to its toxic effects on human beings and environment. Detergents and organic contaminants, which together with chlorine or other halogen elements form absorbent organic halogens (AOX), play an important role in these phenomena. The main goals of my master's thesis are to evaluate AOX and surfactants in waste waters in two outlets in General hospital Celje, to find connections between AOX and surfactants with patients and their medical examinations and to link the amount and type of detergents and disinfectants with the amount of pharmaceutical products, which could be the reason for production of AOX and surfactants in waste waters. Based on these data we could find solutions to reduce occurrence of AOX and surfactants in waste waters. The results showed that AOX values did not exceed limits in waste waters, while surfactants exceeded the limit values in the outflows of waste waters produced by health care services. In General hospital Celje they use various products containing surfactants. Our results showed that they should create a data base with information about ordered and used detergents, servicing of cleaning devices, new technologies, modernization of machinery and equipment in laundry of the General hospital Celje and modernization of treatment of waste waters at the outlet V1, which generates waste waters from health care.
