Title:CONTROLLER FOR LED SUPPLIES USING PULSE WIDTH MODULATION
Abstract:Diploma shows one solution to control power supply for light emitting diodes and so the use of newer and more energy-efficient lighting with light emitting diodes, which need a controller with constant current output. It shows the use of dimmable function of power supplies using pulse width modulation in the existing, wired connections. Where wired connection is not possible, the controller allows the use of wireless connections. The heart of the controller is a microcontroller with four separate pulse width modulation outputs. Operation of the controller is subject to conditions to eight inputs and their time duration. Four inputs are controlled by using a radio receiver module and the other four inputs are wired connections inputs from buttons. Radio receiver operates at a frequency of 433 MHz, has four logic outputs, which is operated by radio transmitter module with four inputs. For switching states of pulse width modulation outputs and control of optical isolators at the output of the controller, the switching transistors are used. In order to protect the controller inputs at wired connections, optocouplers are used. Printed circuit board is designed with the use of software tools for the manufacture of printed circuit boards called Altium. Programming a microcontroller is implemented using programming tools to write programs and programming microcontrollers called MPLAB, from company Microchip.
