Učenci so takrat obiskovali 3. in 4. razred. Sodelujoči učenci so bili vključeni v vadbo rokometa.

Title:MINI HANDBALL AS AN INTEREST SPORT ACIVITY IN PRIMARY SCHOOL
Abstract:The empirical part of the Master's thesis aimed to determine the progress of pupils in performing handball moves after they had been subjected to a 35-hour programme. The survey was based on a non-probable convenience sample of 26 pupils, who practice mini handball at the primary school in the town of Sv. Jurij ob Ščavnici. The pupils included in the study attended the 3rd and 4th grade and participated in handball training. Before and after the experiment, we tested their motor skills and knowledge. The measures were acquired through nine tests that included basic handball moves. The tests were performed twice, the second set four months after the first. We calculated the basic descriptive statistics. To determine the differences between the first and second set of tests, we used the t-test for dependant samples. The statistical characteristics of differences were determined on the risk level of p<0.05. The results showed that pupils made progress in all nine tests. They improved their passes, catches, shots, ball leading and defence movement. The experiment showed that four months of systemic practice help improve performance in handball.
