Obe skupini sta bili testirani dvakrat, opravili sta 12 različnih testov telesnih značilnosti in gibalnih sposobnosti.

Title:THE IMPORTANCE OF JUDO EXERCISE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF MOTORIC SKILLS OF PUPILS IN THE FIRST EDUCATIONAL PERIOD OF PRIMARY SCHOOL
Abstract:This master's degree thesis is made of theoretical and empirical part. The aim was to research the reasons why the children in the first educational period decide to train judo. I also wanted to establish whether there are any differences in physical-motorical abilities between the control and the experimental group that are a consequence of the judo training. The research was based on coincidental temporal sample of boys. In the experimental group there were pupils that train judo in JK Murska Sobota and in the control group there were pupils of Primary School Beltinci (9 pupils of the 1st grade, 10 pupils of the 2nd grade, and 9 pupils of the 3rd grade). None of the boys in the control group were a part of any kind of organised sport activities apart from the regular P. E. lessons in school. Both groups were tested two times and they had to do 12 different tests of physical characteristics and physical-motorical abilities. The data was analysed with the descriptive and inference statistics. The findings showed that the experimental group was better in most of the tests. The biggest differences were in the strength of the torso, the explosive strength of the legs and in the general endurance and coordination of the whole body. A bit smaller differences were shown only in flexibility and balance. Out of the obtained results of the research we can conclude that judo training essentially aids to motorical development of boys in the first three years of primary school.
