Abstract:To delo je nadaljevanje projekta v okviru lastnega diplomskega dela z naslovom Reševanje Rubikove kocke s strojnim vidom in robotskim prijemalom. Predstavljene so rešitve za vse dosedanje pomanjkljivosti in izboljšave prototipnega robota: izboljšano prepoznavanje barv, stabilnejše in hitrejše izvajanje premikov na realni kocki, izboljšana Fridricheva metoda za iskanje rešitve ter iskanje najkrajše rešitve z večkratnim reševanjem virtualne kocke. Robot je voden z mikroračunalnikom Raspberry Pi, za komunikacijo z uporabnikom pa je uporabljena mala nadzorna plošča, ki omogoča preprosto uporabo. Rezultat vseh izboljšav je, da robot deluje stabilnejše in je zanesljivejši, Rubikovo kocko pa reši v manj kot minuti.

Title:FAST ROBOTIC SYSTEM FOR SOLVING RUBIK`S CUBE
Abstract:This work is the continuation of a project within my own diploma work titled Rubik's cube solver using computer vision and robotic wrist. It describes the solutions for all existing problems and upgrades of the prototipe robot: improved colour recognition, faster and more stable movement execution, improved Fridrich method for finding solutions and searching for the shortest solution by solving the cube multiple times. The robot is guided by a microcomputer Raspberry Pi, a small control panel is used for human interaction which makes operating the robot simple. All upgrades lead to a more stable and reliable robot which is capable of solving the cube in less than a minute.
