Title:SINTEZE KOORDINACIJSKIH SPOJIN Co, Cu, Ni IN NEKATERIH LANTANOIDOV Z MEŠANIMI N-DONORSKIMI LIGANDI: AMINOPIRIDINI IN PIKOLINSKO KISLINO

Abstract:Namen magistrskega dela je sinteza novih koordinacijskih spojin, ki imajo na centralni atom hkrati vezana dva različna liganda. V sklopu eksperimentalnega dela smo izvedli 54 sinteznih reakcij. V osnovi smo za centralne atome uporabili baker, kobalt in nikelj. Dodajali smo jih v obliki acetatov. V določenih primerih pa smo poskušali tudi z nekaterimi lantanoidi: neodimom (Nd), evropijem (Eu), disprozijem (Dy) in terbijem (Tb). Nd, Dy in Tb smo dodajali v obliki nitratov, Eu pa smo dodali v obliki klorida. Ker ti elementi veljajo za dražje, smo jih uporabili le v primerih, ko smo v predhodnih sinteznih reakcijah z bakrom, kobaltom in nikljem dobili pozitivne rezultate. Poskušali smo z različno kombinacijo N-donorskih mešanih ligandov. Uporabili smo naslednje: 2-aminopiridin, 3-aminopiridin, 4-aminopiridin, pikolinsko kislino, dipikolinsko kislino, nikotinsko kislino, dinikotinsko kislino, izonikotinsko kislino in 2-aminobenzotiazol. Kot topilo smo uporabili destilirano vodo in etanol. Produkte reakcij smo identificirali z rentgensko praškovno difrakcijo in termogravimetrično analizo. Za vzorce, ki so po predhodnih analizah kazali nastanek novih koordinacijskih spojin, smo opravili še rentgensko strukturno analizo na monokristalu.

Title:SYNTHESIS OF COORDINATION COMPOUNDS OF Co, Cu, Ni AND SELECTED LANTANOIDE S WITH MIXED N-DONOR LIGANDS: AMINOPYRIDINES AND PICOLINIC ACID
Abstract:The purpose of this work has been the synthesis of new coordination compounds, which have two different ligands bound to the central atom at the same time. We carried out 54 synthesis reactions. As basis, we used the central atoms of copper, cobalt and nickel. We have added them in the form of acetates. In some cases, we have also tried with some lanthanides: Europium (Eu), Terbium (Tb), Dysprosium (Dy) and Neodymium (Nd). We have added Nd, Dy and Tb in the form of nitrate, whereas Eu has been added in the form of chloride. Since lanthanides are rather expensive, we have used them only in cases when we got positive results from the synthetic reactions with copper, cobalt and nickel. We have also tried different combinations of mixed N-donor ligands. We have used: 2-aminopyridine, 3-aminopyridine, 4-aminopyridine, picolinic acid, dipicolinic acid, nicotinic acid, dinicotinic acid, isonicotinic acid and 2-aminobenzothiazole. As solvent, we have used distilled water and ethanol. The products have been identified by X-ray powder difraction and termogravimetric analysis. With the samples, the preliminary analyses of which suggested new coordination compounds, we have carried out additional analysis by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.
