Title:TEHNOLOGIJE ZA RAZVOJ SPLETNIH REŠITEV NA OSNOVI PARADIGME ODZIVNEGA SPLETA

Abstract:V diplomskem delu je proučen koncept odzivnih spletnih strani kot odgovor na veliko število različnih naprav, s katerimi lahko dostopamo do spleta. Primerjan je tudi z drugimi alternativnimi rešitvami za prikaz odzivnih spletnih strani na mobilnih napravah. Proučeni so pristopi k izdelavi posameznih delov odzivnih spletnih strani, pri čemer je bilo ugotovljeno, da je veliko različnih možnih pristopov in da nekatere rešitve še niso podprte v vseh brskalnikih, zato je potrebna dodatna koda, da zagotovimo ustrezno delovanje. Na voljo je več ogrodij za izdelavo odzivnih spletnih strani, s katerimi se lahko pospeši proces izdelave, a pri izbiri moramo biti pazljivi, saj nekatera ogrodja vsebujejo veliko komponent, ki lahko spletni strani dodajo nepotreben balast, če jih ne potrebujemo. Slabost odzivnih spletnih strani je njihova velikost, kar je še posebej opazno pri napravah s slabšo zmogljivostjo in počasnejšo internetno povezavo, zato je treba veliko pozornosti posvetiti optimizaciji in izbiri pravih pristopov k izdelavi. Pri analizi spletnih strani je bilo ugotovljeno, da je prav optimizacija šibka točka analiziranih strani.

Title:CONTEPORARY WEB SOLUTIONS BASED ON RESPONSIVE WEB DESIGN PARADIGM
Abstract:In our thesis we researched responsive web concept as answer to large amount of devices that we can use to access the web. We compared this concept to other approaches to web development that optimize web sites for display on mobile devices. We have researched different approaches and techniques of development of specific parts of responsive web sites and we came to conclusion that there is a lot of possible solutions but some are not yet supported by all modern browsers, to mitigate this problem we need to use custom code until browsers will implement needed support. There are a lot of frameworks that can speed up process of developing responsive web sites but we need to be careful when choosing the right one because some of include a large number of components and if they are not used they add unnecessary bulk to web site. Page weight is a common problem in responsive web pages and is more apparent on devices with weaker hardware or slower internet connection that’s why we need to pay special attention when choosing the right approaches to responsive web site development and web site optimization. Our web site analysis shows that optimization is the weakest part of the web sites that we have analyzed.
