Title:Vrednotenje termoizolacije izpušne cevi s pomočjo analize prenosa toplote

Abstract:V diplomskem delu je predstavljen laboratorijski eksperiment določevanja učinkovitosti toplotnih izolacij na izpušni cevi pri avtomobilih in motorjih. Opravljenih je bilo šest primerjalnih testov. Med seboj smo primerjali neizolirano cev ter cev zaščiteno s petimi različnimi izolacijami. Pridobljeni rezultati so služili za inženirski izračun prestopnih koeficientov toplote ter kasneje temperatur na posameznih površinah in toplotnih izgub. Pripravljen je bil tudi numerični model eksperimentalnega postrojenja, kateri je bil osnova za numerične simulacije učinkovitosti toplotnih izolacij oziroma modeliranje sevanja in naravne konvekcije. V zaključku smo med sabo primerjali rezultate meritev, inženirske rezultate ter rezultate dobljene z numerično simulacijo.

Title:Evaluation of the thermal insulation of the exhaust pipe through an analysis of the heat transfer
Abstract:In diploma is represented laboratory experiment of determining efficiency of thermal insulation for exhaust pipes for cars and motorcycles. There were six comparative tests made. We compared bare pipe with pipe insulated with five different insulations. Collected data were basis for engineering calculation of heath transfer coefficients and later for temperatures on different surfaces and heat flux through pipe. Also we prepared numerical model of experimental line up, which was base for numerical simulation of efficiency of heat insulations, natural convection and radiation. At the end we compared outcomes from experiment, engineering calculation and numerical simulation among them.
