Abstract:Blagajniško poslovanje je sestavni del gotovinskega plačilnega prometa, ki ga za gospodarstvo upravljajo banke in hranilnice. Blagajniško poslovanje pomeni sprejemanje gotovine v poslovnih sistemih in izplačevanje gotovine iz poslovnega sistema. To so poslovni dogodki, ki se zgodijo med dvema ali več gospodarskimi subjekti ali fizično osebo. Blagajna je prioriteta za vsako poslovanja, ki jo mora upravljati blagajnik. Blagajnik skenira vse izdelke s pomočjo črtne kode, ki je nekje na izdelku, to izvede s pomočjo laserske tehnologije. Ko je vso blago poskenirano, kupec izbire način plačila: knjižni denar, gotovina ali denar na poti. Zaradi hitrega razvoja tehnologije, je vedno pogostejša samopostrežna blagajna. To je naprava, ki vodi kupca skozi nakup glasovno, kot tudi z navodili na zaslonu preko vseh korakov nakupa. Kupec ima pregled nad procesom skeniranja in plačevanja ter občutek večje vključenosti v proces. Da bi lahko zmanjšali čas čakanja na blagajni, sem skozi diplomsko delo predstavila kdaj nastanejo zastoji in podala rešitve za odpravo zastojev na blagajni. Reševala sem probleme, kako bi bile blagajničarke hitrejše pri svojem delu in kako bi jih razbremenili pri zaključevanju blagajne.

Title:REQUIREMENT ANALYSIS FOR CASH REGISTER PROCESSES IN A SHOPPING CENTRE
Abstract:Cash register operations is a component of the cash payment transactions which is managed by the banks and savings banks for the economy. Cash register operations means accepting cash in business systems and paying out cash from the business system. These are business events which occur between two or more economic operators or a natural person. Cashier's desk is a priority for every operation and has to be operated by a cashier. The cashier scans all the items using the bar code which is located somewhere on the item. This is conducted with laser technology. When all the goods are scanned the costumer chooses the method of payment, check, cash, credit or debit card. Because of the rapid development of technology self-checkout is more and more being put to use. That is a device that guides the customer through the purchase by voice as well as by instructions on the screen through all the steps of the purchase. It provides the customer with an overview over the scanning and payment process and with a feeling of being more involved in the process. To reduce the waiting time I presented throughout my thesis situations when congestions occur and offered solutions to eliminate congestions at the cashier’s desk. I was solving problems how cashiers could do their job faster and how to help them with cashier balancing.
