Abstract:Inovacijska miselnost je nujna na trgu, saj uporablja in implementira najnovejše tehnologije in najboljše poslovne prakse. Inovacije omogočajo razvoj novih izdelkov in njihovo komercializacijo do zadovoljnih potrošnikov, poenostavljajo zapletene procese in pomagajo zvišati angažiranost zaposlenih. Človeške rezerve in potenciali so še vedno premalo izrabljeni. Ljudje oblikujejo kulturo podjetja, ta pa njegovo dušo. V zadnjem poglavju teoretičnega dela so predstavljene najbolj znane in najbolj uporabljene tipologije organizacijskih kultur.

Title:Innovative functioning of an organization: The case of IBM
Abstract:Innovatve thinking is crucial in todays marketplace. It implements the latest technologies and the best products into the hands of satisfied consumers, it simplyfies complex processes and helps increase employee engagement. After all, innovation is what keeps a company relevant to the business market. The company also can not exist and develop whithout people. People form an organization and with theri help the organizaction can develop. It is a living social system made up of people who must mantain and develop all the time. The company is actually the people who form it. It is not enough to maintain the facilities, machinery, technology and the market, it is necessary to maintain human infrastructure using technology and the market selling goods of services. All of this is often forgotten and neglected, and even in the most times underestimated. Human reserves and potencials are still under-spent. People shape the companys culture, that creates it soul. A Company can operate whitout a culture for a time but it cant survive in the long term. The Dissertation is divided into two sections, in a theoretical and empirical part. The first part of the theoretical part includes a section on innovation in the company, the impact of innovative activity on the business. The second chapter in the theoretical part defines the development of innovative behaviour in organizations. Subchapter of this part include in particular corporate culture and related concepts that are related to the culture of the company. In the last chapter of the theoretical part presents the most famous and most used typology of organizational cultures. In the empirical part of the masters thesis, we analyze the results of the research, based on the case study of IBM.
