Title:The effect of internal transport of the company Europcar Slovenija on the environment and the possibility of use of alternative motor fuels
Abstract:In this thesis we researched intern transitions between different units of the company Europcar Slovenia with conventional rides and if it would be reasonable to replace them with rides that runs on alternative energy resources. In this thesis we limited ourselves on electric cars and on cars that runs on liquefied petroleum gas LPG. Both rides we represented in detail, their historic view, pros and cons, also in comparison to the standard cars. We especially focused on the problems of emissions. With the data we obtained from the company Europcar Slovenia we were able to make a picture of the current state, and compared that state with the state we would be having if we replaced al the conventional vehicles with alternative ones. Result showed that replacement would be reasonable from several different aspects. From the economic aspect replacement with electric cars would be wisest as they produce zero emissions; although vehicles that run on LPG would also be better than conventional ones. From the economic aspect on short terms wisest replacement would be vehicles that runs on LPG, but on long terms electric vehicles would be better, as the electrics is much cheaper than any other fuel, which gives the investor back the difference in investment real soon.
