Abstract:Delovno zadovoljstvo zaposlenih vpliva na njihovo uspešnost in učinkovitost. Nekateri si želijo boljših medsebojnih odnosov, drugi upoštevanje in uresničevanje svojih idej, tretji pohvalo in priznanje. Če organizacija želi zaposlene pripraviti do učinkovitosti in uspešnosti, mora ustvariti dobre delovne pogoje, hkrati pa jim mora delo pomeniti vir osebnega zadovoljstva. Razdelili smo ga na teoretični in empirični del. V prvem smo opredelili sam pojem zadovoljstva, čustveno inteligenco v povezavi z zadovoljstvom zaposlenih, navedli dejavnike in elemente zadovoljstva, opisali pomen oblikovanja dela in merjenje zadovoljstva.

Title:EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION AT THE REPUBLIC OF SLOVENIA PUBLIC FUND FOR CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
Abstract:Job satisfaction of employees affects their performance and efficiency. The employees picture experiencing satisfaction in different ways. Some want better relationships while others want their ideas to be recognized and implemented, others want praise and recognition. If an organization wants employees to be efficient and effective, it should create good working conditions, but the work must also represent a source of personal fulfillment for employees. In this thesis, we studied employee satisfaction at the Republic of Slovenia Public Fund for Cultural Activities (hereinafter JSKD). We divided the thesis into two parts; the theoretical and the empirical part. In the first part we defined the very concept of satisfaction, defined emotional intelligence in relation to employee satisfaction, stated the factors and elements of satisfaction, described the importance of designing/assigning work and measuring employee satisfaction. Finally, we have studied what the consequences of employee satisfaction and their dissatisfaction are. At the beginning of the empirical part of the thesis, we described the researched organization JSKD. We conducted a survey on employee satisfaction and their wellbeing at work with an anonymous online questionnaire. Based on the obtained results, we analyzed the individual factors of employee satisfaction, which we presented in charts and graphs. We used Microsoft Office Excel. This way we noted reasonable organizational technical changes that would, according to our estimates, significantly contribute to improving job satisfaction and greater responsiveness of the organization to the needs of the environment. We estimate that, based on the findings, the measures would contribute to an increase in job satisfaction and, with that, to a better quality of life at work in JSKD.
