Title:Toplotne razmere v kalcinacijski komori za pečenje anod

Abstract:Z rednim spremljanjem proizvodnje aluminija v Talumu je bilo ugotovljeno, da so lastnosti predpečenih anod neenakomerne. Iz te neenakomernosti gotovo izhajajo proizvodne težave, ki se izražajo v obliki velike neto porabe anod v elektrolizi B ter v pogostem pojavljanju horizontalnih razpok v anodah elektrolize C. Izvor teh težav je lahko raznovrsten, eden izmed njih so tudi neenakomerne razmere pri pečenju anodv kalcinacijski peči. V tej raziskavi smo merili porazdelitev temperature v eni izmed komor kalcinacijske peči. Rezultati meritev so pokazali, da so toplotne razmere znotraj celotne komore - kakor tudi znotraj posameznih celic, ki sestavljajo komoro - neenakomerne. Na tej osnovi sklepamo, da dobršen del neenakomernih lastnosti anod izhaja iz neenakomernih toplotnih razmer v kalcinacijski peči.

Title:Temperature distribution in the anode baking furnace
Abstract:During continuous monitoring of the primary aluminium production in Talum it was found out that the quality of prebaked anodes is non-uniform. As a result, high nett consumption of anodes in the electrolysis B and often horizontal cracking of anodes for electrolysis C have occured. These problems may arise from different sources, one of these are non-uniform conditions in the anode baking furnace. In this investigation we determined the temperature distribution inside one chamber of the anode baking furnace. Results indicate that the temperature distribution is non-uniform. Therefore, we conclude that non-uniform conditions inside the chamber significantly contribute to variable properties of prebaked anodes.
