Abstract:Povzetek Varnost avtomobila, aktivna in pasivna, postajata vse bolj pomembna za uporabnike motornih vozil kot tudi za ostale udeležence v prometu. Diplomsko delo je razdeljeno na teoretični in praktični del. Opisano je nekaj o samem razvoju aktivnih zavornih sistemov. V praktičnem delu diplomskega dela bo prikazan vpliv različnih zavornih sistemov na samo zavorno pot vozila. Cilj naloge je pokazati voznikom, kakšen vpliv na zavorno pot imajo obrabljene pnevmatike, zimske pnevmatike v letnem času, pnevmatike višjega cenovnega razreda ter pnevmatike nižjega cenovnega razreda. Vse pnevmatike bodo preizkušene z uporabo zavornih sistemov z in brez ABS sistema.

Title:EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS OF PEROSNAL VEHICLES ACTIVE BRAKING SYSTEMS
Abstract:Basic Car safety, both active and passive, is becoming increasingly important for drivers as well as other road users. This thesis is divided into two parts; theoretical and practical. First the development of active braking systems is described. In the practical part of the thesis, the impact of different braking systems on vehicle stopping distances will be presented. The goal of the thesis is to show drivers the impact that worn tires, winter tires, high-end/low-end tires etc. have on braking distances. All tires will be tested with and without the use of Antilock Braking Systems (ABS).
