Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava strategije motiviranja učencev za likovno delo v uvodnem delu učne ure. V teoretičnem delu pojasnimo pomen motivacije pri pouku likovne umetnosti. Opišemo tudi učno motivacijo in splošen pojem motivacija, njegove elemente ter njegova teoretična izhodišča. Dotaknemo se same artikulacije učne ure, pri čemer se osredotočamo na njen uvodni del. Predstavimo tudi učne metode in oblike dela ter učne medije, ki jih učitelj uporablja pri učnem procesu. V empiričnem delu predstavimo rezultate raziskave, v kateri so sodelovali učitelji in učenci tretjih razredov različnih osnovnih šol v Posavju. Raziskava zajema analizo uvodnega dela učne ure s poudarkom na motivaciji. Podatki so bili pridobljeni z neposredno udeležbo pri hospitiranih urah in z intervjujem. Cilj diplomskega dela je ugotoviti, katere strategije motiviranja uporablja učitelj pri uvodnem delu učne ure, na kakšen način jih izvaja in kako je pri tem uspešen. Raziskava odpira pot obsežnejšim raziskavam, ki bi jih bilo smiselno izvesti na področjih motivacije učiteljev in prenosa te motivacije na učence.

Title:STRATEGIES TO MOTIVATE STUDENTS TO WORK IN THE INTRODUCTORY PART OF ART CLASS - CASE STUDY
Abstract:My BA thesis deals with strategies to motivate students to work in the introductory part of an art class. The theoretical part provides an explanation of how important motivation in teaching an art class really is. In addition, I describe teaching motivation and the general concept of motivation, its elements and theoretical bases. I also make reference to the articulation of the lesson in which the focus is laid upon the introductory part. Moreover, I introduce teaching methods, forms of work and teaching media that are used by the teacher in the learning process itself. The empirical part portrays the results of the research analyzing the introductory part of the lesson with the emphasis being on motivation. The study involved teachers and third-grade students from various primary schools in the region of Posavje. The data were acquired through direct participation in teaching observation lessons as well as interviews. The aim of this BA thesis is to determine which student-motivation strategies the teacher applies in the introductory part of the lesson, the way he or she uses them and how successful they are.The research paves the way for carrying out more comprehensive studies of teachers’ motivation and the way this motivation is passed on students.
