Title:Vzroki za konflikte med osebami na prestajanju kazni zapora : diplomsko delo univerzitetnega študija

Abstract:Diplomsko delo z naslovom Vzroki za konflikte med osebami na prestajanju kazni zapora je predstavljeno v dveh delih. V prvem delu (teoretični del) sta predstavljena zgodovina in namen kaznovanja. Nadaljuje se z opredelitvijo in pomenom komunikacije. Na koncu pa je še nekaj teorije o opredelitvi, vrstah, reševanju konfliktov in nasilju. V drugem delu (empirični del) pa so bili opravljeni intervjuji z zaposlenimi in obsojenci ter obsojenkami v Zavodu za prestajanje kazni zapora Dob in Ig. Odgovori intervjuvancev so nato tudi analizirani in primerjani med seboj. Diplomska naloga se nanaša predvsem na konflikte v zaporu, kako obsojenci in obsojenke doživljajo konflikte, kateri so vzroki za konflikte ter na kakšen način jih rešujejo. S pomočjo intervjuja zaposlenih in obsojencev smo ugotovili, da so konflikti v zavodu nekaj povsem običajnega in da do njih prihaja dnevno. Vsekakor gre v večini primerov za manjše konflikte, katerih vzroki so največkrat banalne, nepomembne stvari. Do resnejših konfliktov pa ponavadi prihaja zaradi posojanja raznih stvari, denarja, dolgov, tožarjenja in različnih osebnosti. Zaposleni se zavedajo kako pomembno je samo zaznavanje konfliktov in potem tudi njihovo reševanje. Tako so za svoje delo dobro usposobljeni in svoje delo opravljajo odlično. Da pa bi v nadalje preprečili konflikte, bi bilo potrebno vse zavode za prestajanje kazni zapora preurediti in omogočiti obsojencem, da bi bili nameščeni v manjših sobah. Prav tako bi konflikte lahko preprečevali s tem, da bi čim več obsojencem zagotovili možnost dela in jim s tem zapolnili prosti čas.

Abstract:My diploma thesis entitled The causes of conflict among persons serving prison sentences is presented in two parts. In the first part, which is a theoretical one, we presenting the history and purpose of the punishment. Definitions and meaning of communication in the prison environment are presented and discussed. In the empirical part, were carried out interviews with staff and convicts in the prisons Dob and Ig. The responses are analyzed and compared. Our study refers to conflicts in prison. prisoners’ experiences with conflicts, and their opinion about the causes of conflicts and ways for solving the conflicts with other prisoners. The analysis of the interviews with the prison staff and prisoners, shows that conflicts in the prison are normal and that these occur daily. However, the conflicts are minor, caused trivial. The situations that lead to more serious conflicts are related to lending of various things, especially money, debts and conflict personalities. The prison staff are aware of importantce of their perception of a conflict and ways of solving the conflicts. Their opinion about their work ability to solve problems is reported to be very good. However, due to prison overcrowding in all Slovenian prisons, in order to avoid further conflicts, it should be all institutions of prison rearrange and allow prisoners to be accomodated in smaller rooms. In addition, the conflicts can be prevented by the possibility to work and more activities in their leisure time.
