Title:SPOLNO VEDENJE IN SPOLNE ZNAČILNOSTI DEVETOŠOLCEV CELJSKE REGIJE

Abstract:Spolna vzgoja v osnovnih šolah ni del formalnega izobraževanja. Namen magistrske naloge je analizirati problematiko spolnega vedenja in ostalih značilnosti v zvezi s spolnostjo ter vedenjem v času mladostništva pri devetošolcih celjskih osnovnih šol. Zanima nas, kje in kdaj učenci dobijo prve informacije o spolnosti, kakšen odnos imajo do pornografskih vsebin, časa menarhe, kolikšen je delež cepljenih deklet proti HPV (Humani papiloma virus), ter nenazadnje delež spolno aktivnih devetošolcev v celjski regiji. Raziskovalna metodologija. Raziskava temelji na kvantitativni metodi dela. Podatke smo zbrali s pomočjo strukturiranega anketnega vprašalnika. V raziskavi je bilo vključenih 146 devetošolcev iz naključno izbranih osnovnih šol celjske regije. Rezultate anket smo obdelali s pomočjo Hi-kvadrat kalkulatorja in programa Microsoft Office Excel 2007. Rezultati. Na podlagi rezultatov smo ugotovili, da se zgodnja spolna dejavnost pred petnajstim letom nekoliko umirja, saj nam podatek o spolni aktivnosti iz naše raziskave kaže, da je bilo spolno aktivnih 9 % devetošolcev, od tega statistično pomembno več dečkov kot deklet (77 % proti 23 %, p = 0,04), ki so v 85 % kot zaščitno metodo uporabili kondom. Po naših podatkih je bila precepljenost devetošolk v šestem razredu 60 %. Na odločitev za cepljenje stopnja izobrazbe staršev ali skrbnikov ne vpliva (p ˃ 0,05). Je pa zaskrbljujoč podatek, da se dekleta in njihovi starši v 40 % niso odločili za cepljenje zaradi slabe ozaveščenosti o prednostih cepljenja proti virusom HPV. V naš raziskavi je 62 % vprašanih menilo, da so informacije o spolnosti pridobili pravi čas in da ne bi bilo potrebno, da bi jih dobili prej, vendar pa jih 68 % meni, da je teh informacij količinsko premalo. Značilne razlike med spoloma ni bilo opaziti (p ˃ 0,05). Sklep. Spolnost je neizogiben segment odraščanja, zato je pomembno, da je posamezniku predstavljena ob primernem času, na ustrezen način.

Title:SEXUAL BEHAVIOUR AND CHARACTERISTICS OF STUDENTS ATTENDING THE 9TH GRADE OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN THE CELJE REGION
Abstract:Sex education is not a part of the formal education in elementary schools. The purpose of this Master thesis is to analyse the problematics of sexual behaviour and other characteristics connected to sexuality and behaviour in adolescence in the case of the ninth-grade pupils of the Celje elementary schools. We are interested where and when the pupils get their first information on sexuality, how they feel about pornographic content, the time of the first menstrual period, the ratio of the girls who are vaccinated against HPV (Human Papilloma Virus), and last but not least the proportion of sexually active ninth-grade pupils in the Celje region. Research methodology. The research is based on the quantitative working method. We collected the data by a structured questionnaire. Included in the research were 146 ninth-grade pupils from randomly selected elementary schools in the Celje region. The results from the questionnaires were processed with the chi-square calculator and Microsoft Office Excel 2007. Results. On the basis of the results we established that early sexual activity before 15 years of age is slightly declining, since the information on sexual activity we obtained in our survey shows that 9 % of the ninth-grade pupils were sexually active, of which there is a statistically significant greater number of boys (ratio was 77 % boys and 23 % girls; p = 0.04), and 85 % of these pupils used condom as a protection method. According to our data the proportion of immunisation of the ninth-grade girls in the sixth grade was 60 %. The level of education of girls’ parents or caretakers does not influence on the decision for vaccination (p ˃ 0.05). However, what is worrying is that 40 % of the girls and their parents have not decided for the vaccination due to the lack of awareness regarding the advantages of HPV vaccination. 62 % of the respondents in our survey were of the opinion that they got the information on sexuality at the right time and that it would not be necessary for them to have received these information earlier on, however, 68 % of them believe the quantity of these information is too small. There was no significant difference between the sexes (p ˃ 0.05). Conclusion. Sexuality is an integral part of growing up and it is therefore important to ensure that it is presented to an individual at the appropriate time and in the proper way.
