MERJENJE NIVOJA GLADINE TEKOČINE Z INFRARDEČIMI IN ULTRAZVOČNIMI SENZORJI

Abstract:
V sklopu diplomskega dela je bilo s pomočjo poizkusa ugotovljeno kako se obneseta infrardeči (Sharp 0A02YK) in ultrazvočni (Maxbotics LV-WR1) senzor pri merjenju nivoja tekočin. Za izvedbo poizkusa sta bili uporabljeni dve tekočini; olje in voda. Senzorja s katerima je bil izmerjen nivo tekočine sta bila napajana z enosmerno napetostjo 5 V in sta glede na oddaljenost med senzorjem in gladino ustrezno uravnala analogno izhodno napetost. Meritve višine gladine so bile izvedene diskretno v razmiku 10 cm. Rezultati meritev so v delu predstavljeni grafično, kjer je dobro razvidno ali je senzor primeren za merjenje ali ne. Na podlagi dobljenih rezultatov je bilo ugotovljeno, da infrardeči senzor ni primeren za merjenje nivoja gladine olja. Oba senzorja tako ultrazvočni kot infrardeči pa sta primerna za merjenje nivoja vode.

Title:
MEASURING THE LEVEL OF LIQUID WITH INFRARED AND ULTRASONIC SENSORS
Abstract:
In this thesis, we conducted an experiment to determine the performance of an infrared (Sharp 0A02YK) and an ultrasonic (Maxbotics LV-WR1) sensors for measuring the level of fluids. Two liquids were used for the experiment: oil and water. The sensors measuring the level of liquid were powered with a 5 V direct current and had appropriately adjusted the analogue output voltage in accordance with the distance between the sensor and the surface of the liquid. The measurements of the surface level were performed discretely in 10 cm intervals. The results of the measurements are presented graphically in this paper, showing whether the sensor is suitable for measuring or not. Based on our findings, the infrared sensor is not suitable for measuring the surface level of oil. Both sensors – infrared and ultrasonic – are suitable for measuring the surface level of water.
