Title:POJAV TEMPERATURNIH INVERZIJ NA OBMOČJU POHORJA

Abstract:Temperaturna inverzija je pojav, pri katerem temperatura z višino pada. Intenziteta in pogostost pojava sta največja v hladni polovici leta in v zgodnjih jutranjih urah. Na območjih razgibanega reliefa je inverzija razvita predvsem v predelih konkavnih reliefnih oblik kot posledica zadrževanja hladnega zraka, ki doteka iz pobočij. Temperaturna inverzija na območju Pohorja se najpogosteje in najintenzivneje pojavlja v zahodnem delu, kjer je Slovenjgraška kotlina. V preostalih delih je prav tako pogosta, le manj izrazita. V času pred vzidom Sonca se največji pozitivni temperaturni gradienti kažejo v plasti zraka na nadmorski višini do 450 metrov. Zgornja meja inverzije se pojavlja na nadmorski višini 800 do 850 metrov. Po vzidu Sonca se zgornja meja zniža za približno 50 metrov; prav tako se zmanjšuje intenzivnost. Tekom dopoldneva in popoldneva je inverzija razpadla in se po 20. uri ponovno formirala. Primerjava severne in južne strani Pohorja je pokazala, da so v najnižji merjeni plasti, tj. med nadmorsko višino 350 do 550 metrov, pozitivni temperaturni gradienti na severni strani nekoliko večji. Najpogosteje se pojavljajo gradienti med 0 in 0.5 °C/100 m, medtem ko tisti nad 5 °C/100 m nastopijo le malokrat. Temperaturna inverzija je najbolj izrazita v anticiklonalnem vremenskem tipu. Izkazalo se je, da se v teh situacijah najvišje temperature pojavljajo na nadmorski višini med 750 in 850 metrov. V ciklonalnem in advektivnem vremenskem tipu je inverzija slabo razvita ali pa se ne pojavlja. Intenziteta inverzije se je od decembra proti aprilu zmanjševala.

Title:OCCURENCE OF TEMPERATURE INVERSIONS ON POHORJE
Abstract:Temperature inversion is an increase of temperature with height. Frequency and intensity of the inversion are the most prominent in the morning during cold seasons. In sloping and hilly terrain the inversion chiefly occurs in concave terrain due to trapped cold air that flows down the near slopes. On Pohorje, the most frequent and intensified temperature inversion occurs on the western side where the Slovenjgraška basin is located. In other places the inversion is also frequent, however, the intensity is less prominent. Before sunrise the biggest temperature lapse rates can be seen in the layer of air up to 450 meters above sea level. The upper limit of the inversion commonly occurs between 800 and 850 meters above sea level. After sunrise this upper limit tends to decrease for approximately 50 meters with the intensity also being diminished. Throughout the afternoon the inversion decayed, and started forming again after eight p.m. Comparison of the southern and the northern part of Pohorje reveals us that in the lowest layer of air, that is the layer between 350 and 550 meters above sea level, the temperature lapse rates on the northern side tends to be bigger. The most common lapse rates are therefore between 0 and 0.5 °C/100 m. Lapse rates above 5 °C/100 m were much more infrequent. The strongest inversion occurs in situations when the weather is chiefly governed by anticyclones. The highest temperatures in such cases were measure between 750 and 850 meters above sea level. In cases where advection and cyclones were predominant modifiers of the weather, the inversion was very weak or it did not occur at all. Intensity of the temperature inversion diminished from December to April.
