Opis:V doktorski disertaciji se ukvarjamo z obravnavo vplivov zaupanja in pripadnosti odnosu na sodelovanje med partnerji v oskrbovalnih verigah. Oskrbovalne verige obravnavamo kot mreže ali nize organizacij, ki so vključene v pretok materialov, storitev, financ in informacij od začetnega vira do končnega potrošnika in ki stremijo k doseganju skupnih ciljev. V središče proučevanja postavimo odnose med partnerji v menjavi. Predpostavljamo, da je za vzpostavitev, ohranjanje in razvijanje odnosov v oskrbovalnih verigah ključno doseganje zadostne stopnje zaupanja, ki ga definiramo kot stopnjo zaupanja do partnerjev, s katerimi sodelujejo v oskrbovalni verigi in pri tem upoštevamo tako njihova pričakovanja do partnerjev kot tudi njihove dosedanje izkušnje s partnerji v menjavi, in pripadnosti odnosu, za katero ugotavljamo, da je stanje, ko je partner prepričan, da je dolgotrajen odnos z drugo organizacijo v oskrbovalni verigi pomemben in da je vanj vredno vlagati trud, da se zagotovi njegova trajnost. Ključno je tudi razumevanje sodelovanja med partnerji v oskrbovalnih verigah, ki ga opredelimo v kolaborativnem smislu vedenja kot stopnjo sodelovanja, kjer tri ali več organizacij, ki sodelujejo v oskrbovalnih verigah, s komplementarnimi lastnostmi sodelujejo pri ustvarjanju skupnega pomena in ciljev, ki ga ena sama ne bi zmogla oblikovati in doseči, na način, da imajo vsi skozi sodelovanje večje koristi. Kot dejavnike, ki vplivajo na zaupanje, opredelimo, glede na teorijo zaupanja in pripadnosti odnosu ter glede na teorijo družbene menjave, komunikacijo, skupne vrednote in oportunistično vedenje. Kot dejavnike vpliva na pripadnost odnosu pa obravnavamo prednosti, ki izhajajo iz odnosa, posledice ob prenehanju sodelovanja, skupne vrednote, komunikacijo in zaupanje. Na podlagi teoretičnih spoznanj in obstoječih raziskav smo oblikovali raziskovalni model in postavili tezo doktorske disertacije ter dve glavni hipotezi in osem podpornih hipotez. V raziskovalnem delu ugotavljamo vpliv zaupanja in pripadnosti odnosu na sodelovanje med partnerji v oskrbovalnih verigah. Tako se teza doktorske disertacije glasi »Zaupanje in pripadnost odnosu vplivata na sodelovanje v oskrbovalnih verigah.«. V raziskavo smo z anketiranjem vključili vodje logistike, nabave in prodaje, strokovne sodelavce na področju logistike in vodje procesov in projektov, ki se pri svojem delu ukvarjajo z logistiko. V raziskavo smo vključili primarni, sekundarni in terciarni sektor, podjetja vseh velikosti in tako slovenska kot tuja podjetja, ki imajo enote v Sloveniji. V raziskavi je sodelovalo 118 anketirancev. Glede na demografske podatke vzorca lahko ugotovimo, da so anketiranci odstotkovno razporejeni, gledano na populacijo, primerljivo glede na velikost in panogo organizacij. S pomočjo faktorske analize smo oblikovali osem faktorjev in nadalje ugotavljali povezave med njimi. Opravili smo analizo Pearsonovega koeficienta korelacije in regresijsko analizo in ugotovimo lahko, da obstaja statistično značilna srednja in močna pozitivna povezanost med zaupanjem, prednostmi, ki izhajajo iz odnosa, skupnimi vrednotami in komuniciranjem na eni in pripadnostjo odnosu na drugi strani. Nadalje lahko ugotovimo, da obstaja statistično značilna pozitivna povezanost med skupnimi vrednotami, komunikacijo na eni strani in zaupanjem na drugi ter statistično značilna močna negativna povezanost med oportunističnim vedenjem in zaupanjem. Na koncu ugotovimo še, da obstaja statistično značilna pozitivna odvisnost sodelovanja od pripadnosti odnosu in zaupanja. Glavno tezo doktorske disertacije torej potrdimo in ugotavljamo, da zaupanje in pripadnost odnosu vplivata na sodelovanje v oskrbovalnih verigah ter na koncu poudarimo pomembnost teh dejavnikov v sodobnem managementu oskrbovalnih verig.

Naslov:The Influence of Trust and Relationship Commitment on Collaborative Behavior in Supply Chains
Opis:This dissertation discusses the influence of trust and relationship commitment on collaborative behavior in supply chains. Supply chains are defined as sets of three or more organizations directly involved in (the upstream and downstream) flows of products, services, finances and/or information from a source to a customer and where all companies strive to achieve the same goal. In the theoretical part of the dissertation we presume that the establishment and development of relationships in a supply chain depends on the development of trust and relationship commitment. For the purpose of our work, trust is defined as a willingness to rely on a partner in a supply chain in whom one has confidence. The emphasis is on the expectation that another partner can be relied on to fulfill obligations and at the same time previous experience with partners in exchange relationships is taken in the consideration. Relationship commitment is a term for an exchange partner’s belief that an on-going relationship with partners in supply chains is as important as to warrant maximum efforts to maintain it. One of the very important concepts discussed in this dissertation is also collaboration between partners in supply chains. It is defined as a concept where two or more organizations working together in a supply chain, can gain shared means and goals through complementary characteristics that they could not have achieved individually. Collaboration means greater benefits for all partners. According to relationship commitment – trust theory and theory of social exchange the factors with an influence on trust are communication, shared values and opportunistic behavior. These theories identify relationships benefits, relationship termination costs, shared values, communication and trust as factors influencing the relationship commitment. On theoretical basis and with regard to already existing researches in the field we established a research model and formed a single main thesis of our dissertation, two main hypotheses and eight supporting hypothesis. In the research part of the dissertation we therefore examine the influence of trust and relationship commitment on collaboration between partners in supply chains. Consequently, our thesis is that »Trust and relationship commitment have an influence on collaboration in supply chains«. Logistics managers, chief buyers, sales managers, project managers and employees in logistics departments were included in our online survey. The survey was made in the primary, secondary and tertiary sector of Slovene economy. We included companies of all sizes, both local and foreign ones with a presence in Slovenia. 118 questionnaires were completed and used in our research. According to the demographic data, our sample reflects the population in terms of economy branch and size of companies. Factor analysis produced a combination of eight factors and we examined the relationships and influences among them. The Pearson correlation coefficient and linear regression analysis demonstrate a statistically significant strong correlation between trust, relationship benefits, shared values and communication on one hand and relationship commitment on the other hand. Furthermore, we can see that there is a statistically significant positive correlation between shared values and communication on one and trust on the other hand and a statistically significant negative correlation between opportunistic behavior and trust. At the end we can confirm that there is a statistically significant influence of trust and relationship commitment on collaborative behavior in supply chains. To sum up, we can confirm the main thesis of the dissertation and state that trust and relationship commitment influence the collaborative behavior in supply chains. The results clearly indicate that all factors included in research are very important for today's supply chain management.
