Title:STRES V MANAGEMENTU - RAZLIKE MED SPOLOMA

Abstract:Magistrska naloga se navezuje na tematiko stresa med managerji glede na spol na podlagi raziskave, ki smo jo izvedli. Naloga je razdeljena na teoretični in praktični del. V prvem delu pojasnjujemo problematiko stresa. Opisujemo stres od splošnih teorij do njihovega obvladovanja v managementu. V prvem poglavju teoretičnega dela smo se osredotočili na pomen stresa ter njegove vzroke. Predstavili smo oblike stresa, ga opredelili, razložili njegov pomen in predstavili zmogljivost stresa. V naslednjem poglavju smo se osredotočili na ženske in moške v managementu ter njihovo razliko pri samem delu, ki ga opravljajo na mestu managerja, ter v stresnih situacijah, s katerimi se soočajo. Podrobneje smo predstavili vzroke stresa ter posledice, ki jih stres prinaša. V zadnjih treh poglavjih teoretičnega dela smo predstavili spoprijemanje s stresom in premagovanje le-tega, s poudarkom na tem, kako se soočiti s stresom na individualni ravni ter na ravni organizacije. V nadaljevanju smo predstavili pojem izgorevanje, saj je neposredno povezano s stresom in njegovim delovanjem. V zadnjem poglavju teoretičnega dela pa smo se osredotočili na vpliv stresa na življenje, s čimer smo želeli prikazati, kakšne so posledice stresa in kako razbremeniti stresne situacije ter živeti brez stresa oziroma s čim manj stresnih vplivov na življenje. V praktičnem delu smo na kratko predstavili podjetja, v katerih smo izvajali anketo, in opredelili cilje ter potek raziskave. Z raziskavo smo želeli ugotoviti, pod kakšnim stresom so managerji v izbranih podjetij ter kako ga premagujejo. Pri odločitvi za temo magistrske naloge je odtehtalo predvsem zanimanje za tematiko stresa v današnjem hitrem tempu življenja in o tem, kako se s tem spopadajo na ravni managementa.

Title:STRESS IN MANAGEMENT BY GENDER DIFFERENCES
Abstract:This master thesis deals with the issue of stress among company managers considering gender differences. It is based on the research conducted among several managers. The thesis consists of theoretical and empirical part. The first one looks at the issue of stress and gives insight into general stress theories as well as into stress management in the field of business management. The first chapter of theoretical part focuses on explaining the meaning and causes of stress as well as describing stress itself. In addition, the types and influence of stress have been presented. The following chapters look at men and women in business management, focusing on gender differences in performing on management positions and in dealing with stressful situations they face. In this context, the causes and possible consequences of stress have been presented. The last three chapters of theoretical part shed the light on dealing with and managing stress and raise first and foremost the question how to face stress at the individual and organizational level. The phenomena "burnout" has also been described, since it is inevitably connected with stress and its influence. The last chapter of theoretical part deals with the influence of stress on life. In this context, we aimed at representing the consequences of stress and ways of coping with stressful situations or living without or at least with less stress. In the empirical part, the companies in which the survey was conducted as well as the aims and conduct of research have been presented. The research aims at finding out under what amount of stress are the managers of chosen companies and how they manage stress. The idea for this topic has arisen from my interest in the issue of stress in quick pace of modern life and in stress management in the field of business management.
