Metodologija raziskovanja: Pri izdelavi diplomskega dela smo uporabili deskriptivno metodo dela.

Title:USE OF MEDICATIONS IN PATIENTS VITH COPD
Abstract:Theoretical standpoints: Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is a chronic respiratory disease characterized by progressive and irreversible respiratory prison. The disease is characterized by shortness of breath, chronic cough, and increased production of mucus and secretions. Cigarette smoking is the leading cause of morbidity in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Usually is diagnosed around 20 % off smokers. Stopping smoking is the only measure that can prevent rapid progression of decline in lung function. Damage caused to the lungs is irreversible. By regularly taking medication can alleviate the patient's problems. It is very important that patients take medicines regularly and proper. Nurses have an important role to learn the proper technique of taking inhalation therapy.. With the research I wanted to find the patient's knowledge of inhalation therapy and determine what their technique to take inhaled medicines. Research methods: When creating the thesis we used the descriptive method. For data collection, we used the method of the survey, which included 25 closed-ended questions. The study was conducted in a medical clinic for pulmonary and allergic diseases dr. Carmen Kramer Vrščaj. The study included 50 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease who were treated at a medical clinic for pulmonary and allergic diseases Carmen Kramer Vrščaj. Results: 62 % of respondents have secondary education, most of them worked as professionals. 78 % of those surveyed smokers, tubs and even 16 % of respondents. 93.6 % of respondents smoked more than 20 years after a box or two a day. 92 % of patients regularly using drugs, proper use of inhalation therapy techniques they have learned in the clinic from nurses and doctors. At Exacerbations you know how to properly assist with medication and the right time to seek help from pulmonary specialists. Given the fact that from 50 respondents have so far been hospitalized only 28 % of patients, some of them have been hospitalized several times, we can conclude that patients have fairly good control of the disease, regularly and properly used and regularly attending therapy control. Conclusion: It is important that patients regularly and correctly apply the therapy, for this reason the nurses have a great responsibility. Particular attention should be given to patients who have diminished hearing or difficult to understand things, and at each visit by patients to repeat the correct technique medication.
