Opis:V letu 2012 je na Univerzitetnem kmetijskem centru Pohorski dvor v Pivoli pri Mariboru potekal poljski poskus v okviru programa Core Organic II. Proučili in primerjali smo tri sisteme: (i) rana (ob presajanju cvetače) setev bele detelje (Trifolium repens L.), (ii) pozna setev (18 dni po presajanju cvetače) in (iii) obdelava (brez podseva), ter podseve različno oskrbovali. Oskrba podsevov je vključevala oplete in neoplete površine, obravnavanje z obdelavo pa je bilo razdeljeno na okopane in neokopane parcele. Raziskava je pokazala, da pozna setev bele detelje ob odstranjevanju plevelov dosega signifikantno višje količine pridelkov (34.899 kg/ha) v primerjavi z rano setvijo bele detelje (13.763 kg/ha) in samo obdelavo, brez podseva bele detelje (24.036 kg/ha). Med seboj smo primerjali še različna obravnavanja, ki so vključevala podsev, ki smo ga različno oskrbovali: rana setev - neopleto (RS-BD-Neop), pozna setev - neopleto (PS-BD-Neop), rana setev - opleto (RS-BD-Op), pozna setev - opleto (PS-BD-Op), brez podseva - neokopano (Brez-BD-Neok), brez podseva - okopano (Brez-BD-Ok) in obravnavanje s črno folijo. Najvišji pridelki so bili doseženi na črni foliji 58.304 kg/ha. Statistično značilno primerljivi pridelki s folijo so bili doseženi pri obravnavanjih PS-BD-Op s 45.369 kg/ha in Brez-BD-Ok s 48.073 kg/ha. Slabši pridelki so bili doseženi pri RS-BD-Op in PS-BD-Neop. Pri obravnavanjih RS-BD-Neop in Brez-BD-Neok ni bilo pridelkov, ker so rastline cvetače zaradi konkurenčnosti plevelov propadle.

Naslov:The Influence of Different Mulches on Cauliflower Yield
Opis:In 2012 a field experiment at the University Agricultural center Pohorski dvor in Pivola in Maribor was carried out as part of the Core Organic II project. Three treatments were studied and compared: (i) cover crop early sowing (at cauliflower transplanting), (ii) cover crop late sowing (18 days after cauliflower transplanting) and (iii) hoeing (no cover crop) which were all taken care of differently. The cover crop care included weeded and unweeded plots, and the hoeing treatment included hoed and unhoed plots. The experiment has shown that the late sowing of white clover combined with weeding resulted in significantly higher yields (34,899 kg/ha) when compared to early sowing of the white clover (13,763 kg/ha) and when using the method without cover crop (24,036 kg/ha). We also compared different treatments including cover crop, which were taken care of differently: early sowing - without weeding (RS-BD-Neop), late sowing - without weeding (PS-BD-Neop), early sowing - weeding (RS-BD-Op), late sowing - weeding (PS-BD-Op), without cover crop - without hoeing (Brez-BD-Neok), without cover crop - hoeing (Brez-BD-Ok) and ones that were treated with black foil. The black foil 58,304 kg/ga treatment resulted in the highest yield. Yields which were statistically comparable to the black foil treatment were PS-BD-Op with 45,369 kg/ha and Brez-BD-Ok with 48,073 kg/ha. A RS-BD-Op and PS-BD-Neop produced lower yields. RS-BD-Neop and Brez-BD-Neok did not produce any yield, because the competitiveness of the weeds was greater than the cauliflower’s.
