Abstract:Zaključno delo druge bolonjske stopnje z naslovom Projektno delo pri predmetu družba obravnava teorijo na področju predmeta družbe, projektnega učnega dela in geografskih značilnosti domače pokrajine. V zadnjem delu zaključne naloge je predstavljen krajši empirični del, kjer smo s pomočjo vprašalnika ugotavljali, kakšen odnos so imeli učenci do izvedene projektne naloge.

Title:PROJECT WORK IN SOCIAL STUDIES
Abstract:The master’s thesis Project Work in Social Studies deals with the theory of social studies, project-based learning work and geographical characteristics of the local landscape. The thesis consists of three parts; a theoretical part, a practical part and a briefer empirical part. The execution of the project work, whose purpose was to draw the local landscape nearer to the students through project work and to establish their attitudes towards the executed project work, is presented in the practical part. While writing the thesis we used a non-probability sampling method of the fourth grade students of OŠ Podgorje pri Slovenj Gradcu elementary school in the school year 2013/14. Four lessons from the thematic set People in Place and People in Time in the content Local Landscape were executed. The lessons took place in a classroom of the local school and in the field. In the last part of the thesis a shorter empirical part is introduced where students' attitudes towards the executed project work were established with the help of a questionnaire. It was established that the fourth grade students have positive attitudes towards project work. The children considered active fieldwork as well as the quiz about their local village the most interesting. The activities were active and not just theoretical. The students learnt about the natural characteristics of the local landscape, the local communities, about the differences between them as well as the economic and other activities in their local village. The students have broadened their knowledge with experience and practice and showed interest in their local landscape.
