Abstract:Etika je v poslovnem procesu zelo pomembna, njeni glavni nosilci pa so menedžerji. Ti morajo poskrbeti, da so zaposleni seznanjeni z etiko in jo upoštevajo. Če podjetje želi biti uspešno, mora graditi na svojem ugledu, znanju in dobrih odnosih v okolju, v katerem deluje. Glavna vrednota mora biti uspešnost podjetja, in ne osebni interes posameznika. Etika in morala seveda nista obvezni, sta pa priporočljivi. Vplivata na uspešnost podjetja ter na odnose med zaposlenimi znotraj podjetja. Zelo je tudi pomembno, da je etika zaposlenih usklajena z etiko podjetja. Etično obnašanje je zelo pomembno za naš obstoj danes in tudi za prihodnje generacije. Nekateri se tega zavedajo, spet drugi pa o etiki in etičnosti nočejo niti slišati. Ker se dandanes veliko govori o etiki in morali, kaj hitro prihajajo na dan zgodbe o neetičnem delovanju, kar vrže slabo luč na podjetje. Podjetja se zato vse bolj pogosto odločajo za kodekse, ki pa so lahko različni; lahko vsebujejo zgolj nekaj preprostih pravil, ki veljajo v poslovnem svetu, lahko pa so napisani zelo podrobno. Ti kodeksi so v pomoč zaposlenim, kadar se pri svojem delu srečajo z etičnimi dilemami. Na področju zavarovalništva so najpogostejše goljufije. Iz meseca v mesec jih je več, najpogostejši razlog pa je seveda vedno večja finančna stiska ljudi, ki želijo na ta način izboljšati svoj finančni položaj. Zavarovalnica Triglav, d. d., se uspešno bori proti goljufijam. Večino goljufij odkrijejo že škodni cenilci v škodnem centru, ki nato škodnega zahtevka ne posreduje naprej. Seveda pa imajo tudi strokovno podkovan kader, ki se ukvarja z odkrivanjem goljufij.

Title:BUSINESS ETHICS IN INSURANCE COMPANY
Abstract:Ethics is very important in a business process, where its main holders are managers. The latter have to make sure that employees are acquainted with the ethics and take it into consideration. If a company wants to be successful, it has to be founded on reputation, knowledge and good relations in the environment. The main value has to be the company’s successfulness, and not personal interests. Of course, ethics and morals are not obligatory, but recommended. They affect the company’s successfulness and relations among employees. It is also very important that the employees’ ethics is coordinated with the company’s ethics. Ethical behavior is very important for our existence today and also for the future generations. Some are aware of this, others do not even want to hear about the ethics. Since we talk a lot about ethics and morals nowadays, stories about unethical behavior come to light very quickly, and this brings discredit on the company. For this reason, companies often decide for codes which may be different; they can include just a few simple rules that exist in the business world, or they can be very detailed. These codes are helpful for employees when they face ethical dilemmas at work. In the insurance sector, frauds are the most common. From month to month, there are more and more frauds. The most common reason are straitened circumstances. In this way, some people want to improve their financial situation. The company Zavarovalnica Triglav, d. d., successfully fights against frauds. A lot of frauds are discovered already in the damage center that does not hand over a claim. Furthermore, the company also has proficient staff that shows up frauds.
