Abstract:Diplomska naloga obravnava vpliv naklona fotonapetostnih modulov na proizvodnjo električne energije. Pri tem so predstavljeni in opisani osnovni izračuni geometrijskih lastnosti sončnega sevanja izven zemeljske atmosfere.

Title:INCLINATION IMPACT OF PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULES ON ENERGY PRODUCTION EFFICIENCY
Abstract:The following thesis deals with the inclination impact of photovoltaic modules on energy production efficiency, thus presenting and describing the basic calculations of the geometric properties of solar radiation outside the earth's atmosphere. To determine the optimal inclination and optimal azimuth of photovoltaic modules, we used data for solar radiation on a horizontal surface. Direct and diffuse components of solar radiation were used for the calculation, wherein we fixed the angle of incidence of solar radiation for the direct solar radiation and the proportion of visible sky for the diffuse solar radiation. Calculations were carried out for the city of Celje, along with the data acquired by the Agency of the Republic of Slovenia. The average solar radiation as a function of the inclination and azimuth was performed for all months of the year, as well as for four randomly selected days. The results show the optimal inclination and optimal azimuth of photovoltaic modules which allow the maximum possible solar radiation. We also made a comparison between the measured and calculated monthly averages of solar radiation for the cities of Celje and Velenje.
Keywords:photovoltaic module, solar radiation, the optimal inclination, the optimal azimuth, the yield of solar energy
