Abstract:Aktualni sistemi za podporo izobraževanju na daljavo večinoma temeljijo na predstavitvi učnih gradiv z besedilom in večpredstavnimi vsebinami, povezanimi v učne enote. Izkazalo se je, da se mora uporabnik prebiti skozi množico takšnih učnih enot, da si lahko pridobi določene kompetence, potrebne za rešitev določenega problema. To slabost lahko odpravimo s tehnologijami Spleta 3.0, kjer lahko s pomočjo pomenskega označevanja učnih enot uporabniku ponudimo adaptivne vsebine glede na njegovo predznanje, sposobnosti in interese. Diplomsko delo obravnava uporabo funkcionalnosti Spleta 3.0 v obstoječih sistemih za podporo izobraževanju na daljavo in podporo predstavitve večpredstavnih vsebin za naglušne in slabovidne. Cilj diplomske naloge je implementacija celovite rešitve za pripravo učnih gradiv s tehnologijami Spleta 3.0 in pomensko iskanje po le-teh.

Title:IMPROVEMENT OF E-LEARNING TOOL WITH WEB 3.0 FUNCTIONALITIES
Abstract:Current E-Learning tools are mainly based on the presentation of learning materials with text and multimedia content related to that specific learning unit. It turns out that the users must wade through a multitude of such units, just so that they can acquire certain competences that are needed to solve a particular problem. This disadvantage can be eliminated with Web 3.0 technologies, where semantically labelled learning units can be used to offer user-adaptive content according to user's knowledge, abilities and interests. This thesis covers the use of Web 3.0 functionality in existing E-Learning tools and support for the presentation of multimedia content for the hearing and visually impaired. The aim of this thesis is the implementation of a comprehensive solution for production of teaching materials with Web 3.0 technologies and the implementation of a semantic search engine for labelled teaching materials.
