Abstract:Namen magistrskega dela je bil predstaviti izvedbo rekonstrukcije industrijske čistilne naprave (ČN) in implementacijo najboljše razpoložljive tehnike (BAT) čiščenja odpadne vode z naprednim oksidacijskim procesom – AOPs H2O2/UV/Fe3+. S projektom idejne zasnove, potrjenim v prvi polovici 2011, so stekli postopki pridobivanja gradbenega dovoljenja.

Title:OPERATING OF THE INDUSTRIAL WASTE WATER TREATMENT PLANT FROM CHEMICAL PRODUCTION DURING TRIAL PERIOD
Abstract:The purpose of this master's work was to present the reconstruction of the industrial waste water treatment plant (WWTP) and the implementation of Best available techniques (BAT) of waste water treatment with an Advanced oxidation process – AOPs H2O2/UV/Fe3+. With the project proposal approving in the first half of 2011, the procedures of obtaining an operating permit start to run. Impact on the environment and the origin of the waste water from the production of chemical products (electroplating chemicals) were the key parts of obtaining the consent of the Water and Environmental permit in respect of emissions into water, issued by the Environmental Agency. After obtaining a building permit, one-year of trial period was followed, when I was appointed to be the responsible person for the operation of the WWTP. We prepared the rules of procedure and operating instructions for the WWTP, operating log, we have introduced procedures for determining the parameters of cleaning in internal laboratory, including the preparation of samples for the determination of COD, containing H2O2. In production, we have established a system of separate collection and re-use the first rinse water from cleaning of mixing vessels. In the treatment of waste water with high levels of phosphates, we determine their impact on the reduction in the efficiency of chemical oxidation with H2O2/UV/Fe3+ process, consequently by the formation of iron (III) phosphate. The composition of waste water with COD ≤ 3 000 mg O2/l and total phosphorus P ≤ 250 mg P/l, can be processed in real time and with reasonable cost. We determined the proportions of COD decrease by chemical oxidation in two reactors with UV lighting 24 kW and 36 kW and final cleaning with microfiltration and cationic exchange, which ensures the prescribed limits for discharge in-to surface waters. We were also reach two basic objectives of the project: in November 2013 we acquired the operating permit and waste water treatment at the internal WWTP did not increase the existing costs.
