Abstract:Diplomska naloga obravnava postopek konstruiranja dreves, ki sta ga leta 1984 v znanstvenem članku predstavila Masaki Aono in Tosiyasu L. Kunii. Postopek je ob pomoči računalniške grafike zmožen predstaviti celo paleto različnih 3D dreves zgolj ob spreminjanju parametrov. Sestavljen je iz 4 delov ali t.i. »modelov«, znotraj katerih so definirane različne transformacije objektov v 3D prostoru, s katerimi izrišemo ogrodje drevesa. Prvega v vrsti teh modelov (GMT1) smo v sklopu te diplomske naloge tudi implementirali ter ga podrobneje predstavili - tako algoritem kot rezultate.

Title:TREE MODELLING WITH AONO-KUNII METHOD
Abstract:Thesis deals with Masaki Aono and Tosiyasu L. Kunii's tree modeling algorithm, which was presented in the research paper in year 1984. This algorithm is able to present the whole pallet of different kinds of trees on computer graphics by only adjusting some its variables. It consists out of 4 parts or so called »models« that define transformations in 3D enviroment and they allow us to draw frame of a tree. As a part of this thesis we also implemented the very first model (GMT1) and the results, as well as its algorithm are presented within.
