Title:POLOŽAJ ŠPORTA V OSEBNEM VREDNOSTNEM SISTEMU VZGOJITELJEV PRVEGA STAROSTNEGA OBDOBJA

Abstract:V diplomskem delu z naslovom Položaj športa v osebnem vrednostnem sistemu vzgojiteljev prvega starostnega obdobja smo želeli ugotoviti, kako vzgojitelji prvega starostnega obdobja vrednotijo šport, kakšen odnos imajo do športa in športnih dejavnosti, ali so sami športno aktivni ter ali to vpliva na pogostost izvajanja gibalno/športnih dejavnosti v vrtcu. V teoretičnem delu smo opredelili šport, predstavili vrednostni sistem in življenjski slog, izpostavili pomen gibanja za razvoj otroka in vlogo vzgojitelja pri gibalnem razvoju ter predstavili vrednostni sistem vzgojiteljev v vrtcu. Empirični del prikazuje ugotovitve raziskave, opravljene z anketnim vprašalnikom. V raziskavo je bilo vključenih 102 vzgojiteljev prvega starostnega obdobja iz vrtcev v Prlekiji in Mariboru. Podatki so obdelani kvantitativno in analizirani z deskriptivno statistiko in bivariatno analizo. Na osnovi rezultatov smo ugotovili, da imajo vzgojitelji prvega starostnega obdobja do športa in športnih aktivnosti pozitiven odnos, šport vrednotijo kot pomemben v svojem življenju in so v večini športno aktivni večkrat na teden. Rezultati tudi kažejo, da v svoj vrednostni sistem šport kot vrednoto uvrščajo višje tisti vzgojitelji, ki so športno aktivni vsak dan, ter da gibalno/športne dejavnosti v vrtcu izvajajo nekoliko pogosteje športno aktivnejši vzgojitelji.

Title:POSITION OF SPORT IN THE PERSONAL VALUE SYSTEM OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATIORS
Abstract:In the thesis Position of Sport in the Personal Value System of early Childhood Educators we wanted to determine how educators of the first age group value sport, their attitude to sport and sport activities, whether they themselves are active and if this influences their frequency of carrying out physical/sport activities in kindergarten. The theoretical part defines sport, introduces value systems and lifestyles, it highlights the importance of movement for child's development and the role of educators for child's motor development, it also introduces the value system of educators in kindergarten. The empirical part presents the findings of our survey conducted by the questionnaire. The survey included 102 educators of the first age group in kindergartens from the areas of Prlekija and Maribor. The data was processed quantitatively and analysed with descriptive statistics and bivariate analysis. Based on the results we found that the educators of the first age group have a positive attitude to sport and sport activities, they value sport as important in their life and are mostly active several times a week. The results also show that the educators who are active every day place sport as a value higher in their value system as well as carry out physical/sport activities slightly more often.
