Title:Poznavanje depresivne motnje med mladimi

Abstract:Teoretična izhodišča in namen: V diplomskem delu smo predstavili depresivno motnjo kot bolezen, ki ni samo ena izmed najbolj pogostih duševnih motenj, temveč tudi ena izmed najbolj razširjenih bolezni na splošno. Depresivna motnja je bolezen, za katero spol, starost in rasa niso ključnega pomena. Prizadene lahko vsakogar. Problem depresivne motnje je pogosta neprepoznavnost ali nepravočasno odkrivanje simptomov depresije, nezdravljenje ali neustrezno zdravljenje depresivne motnje. Namen diplomskega dela je bil raziskati in preveriti informiranost mladostnikov o depresiji. Raziskovalne metode: Uporabili smo kvantitativno metodologijo. Raziskavo smo izvedli na Srednji elektro-računalniški šoli Maribor, s pomočjo spletnega vprašalnika EnKlikAnketa, v kateri je prostovoljno sodelovalo 61 dijakov. Raziskavo smo izvajali v mesecu maju 2014. Rezultati: Rezultati raziskave so pokazali, da dijaki poznajo pojem depresija, vendar jih večina ne pozna oseb z depresijo, prav tako sami ne bi prepoznali simptomov depresije. Depresijo so največkrat povezali z žalostjo. Večina dijakov je mnenja, da je zdravljenje depresije doživljenjsko in kot najpomembnejšo obliko zdravljenja depresije navajajo zraven antidepresivov psihoterapijo. Sklep: Depresivna motnja je velik zdravstveni problem, ki glede na vsakdanji stresen način življenja zajema vse več mladostnikov. Iz nekaterih raziskav je razvidno, da bo v prihodnosti v razvitih državah ta bolezen zdravstveni problem številka ena. Zaradi tega je izjemnega pomena poznavanje, pravočasno odkrivanje in ustrezno zdravljenje depresivne motnje.

Title:Awareness of depressive disorders among young people
Abstract:Theoretical baseline and purpose: In this diploma paper we presented a depressive disorder as a disease that is not only one of the most common mental disorders but also one of the most widespread diseases in general. Depressive disorder is a disease in which gender, age and race are not essential. Depression can affect everyone. Problem of a depressive disorder is a common lack of recognition or late detection of depressive symptoms, untreated or inadequately treating depressive disorders. The purpose of the diploma paper was to investigate and verify the information of adolescents on depression. Research Methods: We used quantitative methodology. The study was conducted in Electric and computer science high scool in Maribor, with help of an online survey EnKlikAnketa in which voluntarily participated 61 students. The survey was conducted in May 2014. Results: The results of survey showed, that students understand the concept of depression, but most of them do not know a person with depression, also they would not reciognize symptoms of depression. They have connected depression most with sadness. Most students thought that the treatment of depression takes a lifetime and as the most important form of the treatment for depression indicated next to antidepressant psychotherapy. Conclusion: Depressive disorder is a major health problem, with regard to everyday stressful lifestyle includes more and more young people. In some studies it is evident that in the future, in developed countries this disease will be the number one health problem. Therefore, it is of outmost importance to identify, early detect and appropriate treat a depressive disorder.
