Title:Izzivi in inovativni postopki pri reciklaži redkozemeljskih magnetov SmCo

Abstract:V magistrski nalogi obravnavamo področje redkozemeljskih kovin, njihove lastnosti, reciklažo in priložnosti, ki jih ponujajo. Področje ekoloških inovacij, redkih zemelj in reciklaže le-teh preučujemo tako s fizikalno-kemijskega vidika kot tudi s stališča teorije sistemov oz. invencijsko-inovacijskega managementa. V nalogi predstavljamo redke zemlje, njihove lastnosti in posebnosti, zaradi katerih so esencialnega pomena za sodobne tehnične aplikacije. V teoretičnem delu še opredelimo invencije, inovacije in difuzijo novosti ter ustvarjalnost, vključno z razmišljanji Abrahama Maslowa. V aplikativnem delu naloge se osredotočimo na reciklažo redkih zemelj oz. samarija. Težavo pri recikliranju predstavljajo delci samarijevega oksida, ki jih analiziramo s svetlobno mikroskopijo, tako da predvidimo njihovo obnašanje. V sklepnih mislih predstavimo domneve in ugotovitve o vplivu in porazdelitvi samarijevega oksida, prav tako pa analiziramo inovacijske dejavnike in ustvarjalnost po Maslowu z namenom izboljšanja delovne prakse v sodobnih podjetjih.

Title:Recycling of rare-earth magnets SmCo - challenges and innovation
Abstract:In our master thesis we have been focusing on rare-earth materials and their characteristics. We examined which opportunities do REE offer, especially the ones according to recycling of REE. We approached to our research in eco-innovations, REE and recycling from two aspects, the one according to chemistry and one taken from inventive-innovation management. In our paper we have introduced REE, their properties and described why they are so essential for modern technical applications. In theoretical part we have defined invention, innovation and creativity with opinion from Abraham Maslow. During our research in laboratories we have focused on REE’ recycling and samarium oxide. We have examined samarium oxide under the microscope, although this has brought us only to partial conclusions. It is believed that our research in invention-innovation management and recycling of REE may provide some novelties in European and Slovenian economy.
