Title:KONCEPT INFORMACIJSKEGA SISTEMA ZA UPORABO NADGRAJENE RESNIČNOSTI IN BIM-A NA GRADBIŠČU

Abstract:Magistrsko delo obravnava koncept in prototip informacijskega sistema za uporabo nadgrajene resničnosti in informacijskega modela zgradbe (BIM) na gradbišču. Izvedli smo raziskavo uporabe tehnologije za nadgrajeno resničnost na gradbišču, izdelali specifikacijo zahtev in prototipno rešitev sistema AR4BIM. V okviru raziskave tehnologij za uporabo nadgrajene resničnosti in BIM-a na gradbišču smo obravnavali način delovanja posameznih tehnologij. Podrobno smo proučili možnost uporabe obstoječih tehnologij in orodij ter izvedli eksperimente pri iskanju ustreznih rešitev za uporabo nadgrajene resničnosti. Prikazali smo tudi bistvene prednosti sistema AR4BIM, ki predstavlja združitev tehnologije nadgrajene resničnosti in BIM ter nakazuje na možnost uvedbe novih tehnologij na gradbišču. V okviru specifikacije zahtev sistema AR4BIM smo podrobno proučili primere uporabe in funkcije sistema za uporabo nadgrajene resničnosti in BIM-a na gradbišču. Poudarki raziskave so na razpoznavanju elementa/detajla na klasičnem 2D načrtu, uporabi IR pisala, vizualizaciji elementa in priklicu zahtevanih podatkov iz informacijskega modela zgradbe. V praktičnem delu magistrske naloge smo izdelali specifikacije zahtev za uporabo nadgrajene resničnosti in BIM-a na gradbišču ter izdelali delne prototipe za potrditev koncepta informacijskega sistema. Uporabljeni informacijski sistem za uporabo nadgrajene resničnosti na gradbišču je hkrati robusten in cenovno ugoden, saj lahko le s tem zagotovimo, da se bo tehnologija AR4BIM uspešno uveljavila in uporabljala na gradbiščih. Rezultati naloge lahko služijo tudi razvijalcem sistemov, ki želijo implementirati nadgrajeno resničnost na področju izvajanja gradbenih del oz. gradbišču.

Title:REQUIREMENTS SPECIFICATION AND SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION FOR USE OF AUGMENTED REALITY AND BIM ON CONSTRUCTION SITE
Abstract:Master thesis deals with the concept and prototype of information system for the use of augmented reality and building information modeling (BIM) on constructions site. We carried out an analysis of the possibility of using existing technologies of augmented reality on site and built a prototype system consisting of augmented reality and building information modeling (AR4BIM). Our research included technologies for the use of augmented reality and BIM on construction site. We evaluated existing technologies and tools and also conducted experiments to find the appropriate solutions for the use of augmented reality and BIM on construction site. We have demonstrated advantages of AR4BIM, which represents the amalgamation of augmented reality technology and BIM. In the context of requirements analysis for AR4BIM we examined in detail the functions of the system and its specific requirements for the use of augmented reality and BIM on construction site. Highlights of our approach are: the possibility to identify the element/detail on the classic 2D plan, the use of IR pens and visualization of building elements and use of data from the building information model. In the practical part of the master's thesis we analyzed and specified system requirements for the AR4BIM, developed partial prototypes to validate the concept of the system. The AR4BIM must be at the same time robust and affordable,which ensures that the system could successfully be implemented and used on construction sites. Results of the project can be used by software system developers for implementation of the AR4BIM.
