Abstract:V letih 2010, 2011 in 2012 smo izvedli poljske poskuse v vinogradu sorte 'Sauvignon' z namenom primerjave uspešnosti zatiranja peronospore vinske trte (Plasmopara viticola Berl.

Title:GRAPEVINE DOWNY MILDEW (Plasmopara viticola Berl & de Toni) CONTROL WITH ALTERNATIVE PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCTS AT INTEGRATED AND ORGANIC GRAPE PRODUCTION SYSTEM
Abstract:During the seasons 2010, 2011 and 2012, field trials were carried out to compare the efficacy of downy mildew control on grapevines in integrated or organically kept ‘Sauvignon’ plots. They were treated with a spray programme including copper based fungicides and one that excluded them. The determined efficacy rates of the spray programmes for controlling downy mildew in the seasons of 2010 and 2012, reached between 97% and 99% and 88% to 99% in the trial of the 2011 season. The achieved efficacy rates of all tested programmes in seasons 2010 and 2012 were equivalent, partiality as a consequence of weather conditions, which were not favourable for the development of mildew. Statistically significant differences among tested programmes were present only in the 2011 season. The lowest efficacy was determined in the spray programmes for the organic grape production system (EKO with copper products applied 97.1 % and EKO without copper products applied 88.3 %). The achieved downy mildew control rate in seasons 2010 and 2012, in the case of spray programmes without the use of copper fungicides, were not significantly lower in integrated or organically managed vineyards, when compared to the rate achieved with programmes in which copper fungicides were included. The exception was season 2011. Based on the results of our trials, we cannot claim with certainty, that a total exclusion of copper product usage in grapevine disease control is feasible.
