Title:USMERJANJE RAZVOJA ŠTUDENTSKE ORGANIZACIJE UNIVERZE V MARIBORU

Abstract:Usmerjanje razvoja organizacij je zelo zahtevna in odgovorna naloga. V magistrski nalogi je poudarek na usmerjanju razvoja na ravni strateškega managementa. Vodilni zaposleni na tej ravni si pri zbiranju informacij, odločanju in ukrepanju, pomagajo z metodami za preučevanje zunanjega in notranjega okolja in metodami za presojo celovite organizacije ter oblikovanje strategij. V teoretičnem delu naloge je predstavljen MER model integralnega managementa, ki je izhodišče za obravnavani management v nadaljevanju. Natančneje je predstavljena vloga strateškega managementa in planiranje ustanovitve in razvoja na tej ravni. Proučene so izbrane metode planiranja na ravni strateškega managementa, to so tiste metode, ki služijo kot pripomoček managementu pri sprejemanju odločitev glede nadaljnjega razvoja organizacije. Ker se strateško planiranje v javnih in neprofitnih organizacijah razlikuje od planiranja v podjetjih, kot jih klasično razumemo, je predstavljen tudi ta vidik. V praktičnem delu naloge je predstavljena preučevana organizacija ŠOUM. Izvedene so metode: analiza verige vrednosti v namen preučevanja notranjega okolja, Porterjev model analize panoge za preučevanje zunanjega okolja in TOWS matrika za preučevanje notranjega in zunanjega okolja hkrati. Uporaba kombinacije izbranih metod omogoča preučevanje organizacije same in z vidika okolja, kar pripomore k celostnemu obravnavanju ŠOUM-a in podajanju predloga temeljne strategije. Na primeru ŠOUM smo ugotovili, da se izvedene metode lahko tudi uporabijo za preučevanje javnih in neprofitnih organizacij. Rezultati vseh treh izvedenih metod so omogočili, da smo prepoznali možnosti in zmožnosti organizacije. Na podlagi tega smo podali predlog temeljne in poslovne strategije prihodnjega razvoja organizacije.

Title:DIRECTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE STUDENT ORGANIZATION OF UNIVERSITY OF MARIBOR
Abstract:Planning the development of organizations is very demanding and responsible task. The Master’s thesis focuses on how to manage development at the level of strategic management. Executive employees at this level are using methods for studying the external and internal environment for collecting information and decision-making for overall assessment of the organization and planning the strategies. In the theoretical part of the Master’s thesis is presented the MER Model of Integral Management in order to achieve reader’s comprehensive understanding of the addressed management. The role of strategic management and planning of the establishment and development at this level is more specifically studied. Selected methods of planning at the level of strategic management are clarified, this are the methods that serve as a management tool in decision-making of the further development of the organization. Presented is the aspect of the strategic planning in the public and non-profit organizations since it differs from planning in private or profit companies. In the empirical part of the thesis is presented the studied organization ŠOUM. Implemented methods are: value chain analysis for the purpose of examining the internal environment, the Porter’s approach to analyzing industries to examine the external environment and TOWS matrix to study the internal and external environment at the same time. The use of combination of selected methods is enabling the study of the organization itself and in terms of the environment. This contributes to the holistic treatment of ŠOUM and helps to build the proposal of the fundamental strategy. In the case of ŠOUM we have concluded that implemented methods can be used to study public and non-profit organizations. Results of all three methods have shown us ŠOUM’s possibilities and capabilities. Using the results we have proposed fundamental and business strategies and future development of the organization.
