Opis:V diplomski nalogi z naslovom Muta in bližnja okolica na levem bregu Drave v 18. stoletju bom predstavila zgodnjenovoveško upravno in cerkveno zgodovino Mute.

Naslov:MUTA AND THE SURROUNDING AREA ON THE LEFT BANK OF THE DRAVA RIVER IN THE 18TH CENTURY
Opis:In my diploma work Muta and the Surrounding Area on the Left Bank of the Drava River in the 18th Century I will present administrative and ecclesiastical history of Muta in Early Modern Times. Despite being trapped between the slopes of Pohorje and Kozjak, Muta was noticed by Bamberg bishops in the Middle Ages because of its border location. The bishops placed there a tollhouse - a toll station for water and road transport. The latter dictated the development of the town for almost 700 years and attracted merchants, travelers, raft rowers, etc. I tried to find out how important and extensive Muta was in the middle of the 18th century by studying the inventory of houses, which was carried out in 1754 and was also the basis for carrying out the reforms in tax and military system. The daily pulse of the place was written by individuals, members of the borough council, who by their decisions supported the actions of individuals, including of the local parish priest Philip Vezjak. The latter was in conflict with accommodated, but often changing chaplains. He was perhaps looking for the gratification of the public confirmation of the the injustice done to chaplains or simply just for the relief from injustice imposed on him!? Based on collected material, it is difficult to determine who was in this wronged and who was spared the truth. However, it can be assumed that such a dispute in the Church did not bear peace and prosperity, but doubt. This is why the maintained lists of confessed and unconfessed believers, which show the potential growth of believers, and the lists of pastoral task affiliates are more important.
