Title:ZAVORNI SISTEMI VOZIL IN NJIHOVA ENERGIJSKA UČINKOVITOST

Abstract:Diplomsko delo obravnava problematiko, lastnosti in nabor dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na kakovost in optimalno delovanje zavornih sistemov avtomobila. Opisani so osnovni pojmi in značilnosti delovanja zavorne naprave, razčlenjeni so glavni sklopi, tipi in zgradba zavornih sistemov. Na kratko so tudi razloženi najpogostejši sistemi, ki se uporabljajo v avtomobilu za uravnavanje zdrsa in aktivni elektronski varnostni sistemi, kot so ABS, BAS, ESP, ASR in drugi, za katere je za delovanje posledično odvisna tudi zavora. Ker tehnologije napredujejo s časom, so se tudi na tem področju pojavile številne izboljšave in novosti, ki izpopolnjujejo samo zaviranje in zaviralni proces. Pojavljajo se metode in načini izkoriščanja energije zaviranja, ki je dolgo časa bila neizkoriščena in se je spreminjala samo v toploto. Tako s tehnologijo, kot tudi z vidika varnosti, se je pojavila tudi potreba po novih materialih tudi na tem področju, ki omogočajo bistveno boljše delovanje, učinkovitost in vodenje celotnega sistema. Predstavljeni pa so tudi vplivi zavornih sistemov na okolje, kot je onesnaževanje s hrupom, vibracije in trdni delci, ki nastajajo pri zaviranju. Pojasnjeni so tudi ukrepi za zmanjšanje negativnih vplivov zavornih sistemov na okolje, kako ravnati z odpadnim materialom (olja) ter kako novi kompoziti in izboljšave sistema doprinesejo k boljšemu varovanju okolja.

Title:VEHICLE BRAKE SYSTEMS AND THEIR ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Abstract:The diploma presents and deals with problems, characteristics and a set of factors that influence quality and optimum performance of car braking systems. Basic terms and features of the braking device operation are described and later on main components, types and structure of braking systems are analysed. The diploma also in short presents most frequently used car systems for slip regulation and active electronic safety systems such as ABS, BAS, ESP, ASR on which consequently depends the performance of the braking device. As technologies continue to move forward with time, numerous improvements and innovations that improve brakes and braking process have occured. Consequently appeared new methods and ways of exploitation of braking energy, which was for a long time unused and changed only in heat. Technology as well as safety perspective brings up a need for new materials which allow better performance, efficiency and management of the entire brake system. The diploma also presents the effects of brake systems, especially the impact on the environment, such as noise pollution, vibration, as well as additional hard particles which are generated when braking. Measures for reduction of negative impacts of braking systems on the environment are also discussed, for example dealing with waste materials (like oil), and contribution of new composites and improvements of the system to a better environment.
