Title:DOLOČANJE VSEBNOSTI CINKA IN NIKLJA V GALVANSKI KOPELI Z RENTGENSKO SPEKTROSKOPIJO

Abstract:Namen diplomske naloge je uvedba kontrolne metode, s katero lahko ovrednotimo rezultate meritev koncentracije cinka in niklja v galvanski kopeli in ugotovimo sposobnost merilne opreme, ki se uporablja v tem procesu. Na podlagi realnih podatkov, izmerjenih v procesu galvanizacije s pomočjo detektorja energije rentgenskih žarkov, sem z uporabo kontrolnih kart preverila zanesljivost delovanja naprave, ki v svoji funkciji posledično uravnava koncentracije v predhodno določenih mejah. Z uvedbo kontrolne karte se je povečala stopnja preverljivosti procesa galvanskega nanosa. Postavljene kontrolne meje (zgornja in spodnja opozorilna meja ter zgornja in spodnja akcijska meja) zagotavljajo kontinuirano zasledovanje koncentracij kovin v elektrolitu. Tak način dela omogoča zanesljivost procesa v katerem je vključen mehanizem permanentnega spremljanja koncentracij kovin v vnaprej določenih mejah. Rezultati, pridobljeni s pomočjo uvedbe X-kontrolnih kart za izmerjene vrednosti cinka in niklja v galvanski kopeli, ki jih uravnava detektor energije rentgenskih žarkov, dokazujejo pravilnost delovanja naprave, z metodo samo pa se poveča zanesljivost in preverljivost procesa vzdrževanja koncentracije galvanske kopeli. Obravnavana tematika predstavlja dobro izhodišče za nadaljnje delo na področju uporabe kontrolnih kart in njihove širše uporabe v nadzoru procesa.

Title:DETERMINATION OF ZINC AND NICKEL IN THE GALVANIC BATH USING X-RAY SPECTROSCOPY
Abstract:The purpose of the diploma work is the implementation of a control measurement method which allows us to measure the concentration of zinc and nickel in the galvanic bath and to establish the ability of the measurement device, used in this process. With the method of the X-control chart I have tested – on the basis of the real data, measured with the X-ray energy detector in the galvanic process – the reliability of the measurement device that consequently regulates the concentration within previously determined boundaries. With the implementation of the method of the X-control chart the level of the verifiability of the galvanic process substantially increased. The determined control limits (the upper and lower warning limit as well as the upper and lower action limit) ensure the continuous monitoring of the concentration level of the metals in the electrolyte. Such methodology enables the reliability of the process which includes the mechanism for permanent monitoring of the previously determined limits. The results achieved by the X-control charts for the measured values of zinc and nickel in the galvanic bath, regulated by the X-ray energy detector, prove the proper functioning of the device. Furthermore, the reliability and verifiability of the process of maintaining the galvanic bath concentration are increased by the method itself. The addressed topic represents an extremely good starting point for the further work in the field of the utilization of the X-control charts and their broader application in the control process.
