Abstract:Brezposelnost je močno povezana z APZ.

Title:ACTIVE LABOR MARKET POLICY PROGRAMS IN SLOVENIA
Abstract:Unemployment is strongly associated with the active employment policy. Active employment policy consists of a set of measures and programmes designed to reduce unemployment and increase employment, and to coordinate the supply and demand on the labour market. Programmes help reduce unemployment, create new employment opportunities and promote self-employment, which is especially important in times of economic and financial crisis. Graduate seminar is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part we describe unemployment, which has major social and economic consequences for the individual and the country. However, the authorities are aware of this, because the unemployment rate for the year 2008 is becoming a big problem. In order to reduce unemployment, Employment Service of Slovenia performs actions and programmes of active employment policy, which vary depending on the number of unemployed persons and the situation on the labour market. We also describe the active employment policy, measures and activities to be carried out within the framework of these measures. In the empirical part, we focused on programmes and measures of the active employment policy for the years 2011 and 2012 throughout Slovenia, and in the area of Regional Office Maribor. The focus was primarily on the number of unemployed persons involved in these programs, as well as on the guidelines of the active employment policy for the year 2013.
