Title:MICRO, SMALL AND MEDIUM - SIZED ENTERPRISES (SMEs) IN SLOVENIA AND STIMULATION FOR THEIR DEVELOPMENT
Abstract:Small and medium-sized enterprises ( SMEs) play an important role in the Slovenian economy and the global economy. They represent 99% of businesses and provide around 75 million jobs. Micro and small enterprises enable for the poor people - including some of the most vulnerable segments such as women, young and with no property - to expend their incomes, create new sources of economic growth and create jobs (including self-employment) in the poorer areas. So, we can say that enterprises is a driving force for innovation and with that are very important financial incentives for small and medium-sized enterprises, which play a very important role in the economy.
