Keywords:gibalne dejavnosti v vrtcu in naravi, usposobljenost vzgojiteljev za izvajanje gibalnih dejavnosti otrok, gibanje/šport kot pomemben dejavnik zdravega načina življenja, vloga vrtca in družine v gibalnem razvoju otrok, celostni razvoj otrok.

Title:PHYSICAL ACTIVITY IN CHILDREN AS A MEANS TO CREATING A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
Abstract:My thesis entitled Physical Activity in Children as a Means to Creating a Healthy Lifestyle consists of theoretical and empirical work. In the theoretical part, I have used the descriptive method to present the importance of physical activity for a child, the impact of movement on physical and psychological health as well as the immune system, the role the family plays in creating an active lifestyle of children, the significance of outdoor activities, the importance of physical activity for the integrated development of a child, the role of a kindergarten in a child's motor development and health-related issues of children and teenagers of modern society. The second, empirical part presents the results and provides an analysis of the questionnaires completed by parents and kindergarten teachers. The research sample was taken from a specific population and represents a random sample of professionals and parents of children aged 1-6 attending different units of kindergartens in SE Slovenia (Sv. Ana, Benedikt, Sladki Vrh and Pernica). The data are qualitatively processed and analyzed on the level of descriptive statistics using frequency distributions and bivariate analysis and are presented in the form of tables and graphs. We found that the age of the teachers does not affect the facilitation of physical activities of children, the amount of planned activities (every day) does not differ depending on the level of education of the teacher, and the age of the parents does not affect the opinion of the importance of the fact that instilling physical activity in a child means educating a physically active adult.
Keywords:physical activity in preschool and in nature, the skills of teachers for the implementation of children's physical activities, exercise / sports as an important factor of a healthy lifestyle, the role of kindergarten and family in child motor development, integrated development of children.
