Title:Tehnologije zajemanja CO2 ter preučevanje njihovega vpliva na delovanje energetskih sistemov

Abstract:Na osnovi okoljske problematike, ki danes predstavlja enega izmed največjih globalnih izzivov, so v magistrskem delu predstavljene tehnologije zajemanja ogljikovega dioksida iz industrijskih procesov pridobivanja električne energije. Trenutno najbolj obetajoče rešitve v prihodnosti predstavljajo sistemi zajemanja na osnovi pozgorevanja iz elektrarn na fosilna goriva, zato je poudarek namenjen prav njim. Predstavljen je vzorčni fizikalno-matematični model, na osnovi katerega je podana ocena snovnih in energijskih tokov v sistemu. Glede na definirano energetsko učinkovitost sistema za zajemanje ter projekcije modela na referenčni energetski objekt je podana tudi ocena ekonomske upravičenosti integracije tovrstnih sistemov za obdobje do leta 2050.

Title:Carbon Capture Technologies and study of their influence on energy systems
Abstract:Today environmental issue is representing one of the biggest global challenges. Based on that this dissertation present technologies for carbon capture as one of the posible solutions in the future. Researches has been shown that the most reasonbly will be capturing from large energy facilities in power generation sector. Thusly disertation exhaustively consider post carbon capture from large fossil fuels power plants as the most aprropriately solutions for the future. For chossen reference plant the physically mathematical model is being made to study mass and energy flows in the post combustion capture system. Because the selected process efficency of capture system has the biggest influence in overall facilities losses study examined the economy eligibility of those systems within period by 2050.
