Raziskali smo možnosti boljše dostopnosti in prilagojenosti za omenjeni segment povpraševanja. V prvem poglavju smo opredelili področje raziskave in opisali problem.

Title:ANALYSIS OF TWO SAMPLE HOTELS REGARDING THEIR SUITABILITY FOR DISABLED PERSONS
Abstract:The thesis is focused on the analysis of two chosen hotels and their adaptation for disabled people who have special needs. We researched the possibilities how to assume for them a better accessibility and how to adapt the chosen hotels for disabled people. In the first chapter we have defined the research area and we described the problem. We have also should, the purpose, aims and basic arguments, which we have proved in the thesis. We also noted possible limitations and the methods we assumed to need during the research. In the second chapter we introduced the hotel operations and defined those kinds of disabilities we were going to research in the thesis. The first part is divided into a short introduction of the three scopes of services for guests: food and beverage, accommodation and entertainment. In the second part we emphasized the importance of the correct understanding of persons. The last part of the chapter includes the description of basic concepts how hotels and catering should be adjusted to manage guest groups with different kinds of disabilities. The third chapter is dedicated to the comparison of the two chosen hotels and the analysis of their adaptive. We used charts to analyze the offer in the Vesna hotel in Topolšica and in the Tomi hotel in Portorož. We could see from the chart what hotels provide and what is still missing for groups with different kinds of disabilities. We also added the Mladika hotel, which stand apart of the Hotel Vesna, and it is s a good example of an accessible hotel with adjusted offer. In the second part of this chapter we analyzed the interviews that were made with different associations connected to people with limited capacities. In chapter four we came to the conclusion that there were still some areas that could be improved in Slovenia for disabled people, such as the accessibility of tourism attractions and the adaptive of hotels and restaurants to persons on wheelchairs.
