Abstract:Teoretični del diplomskega dela govori o konvergenci in medijih. Izraz konvergenca pomeni združevanje oziroma stapljanje. Kadar govorimo o medijski konvergenci, ugotovimo, da se mediji konvergirajo na več različnih nivojih: prevzemajo nove oblike (formate), kot na primer spletno poročanje in spletni video, ki ju pri svojem delu s pridom uporabljajo tudi novinarji. Prav tako medijske hiše uvajajo nove medije, predvsem spletne, uredniki pa vse medije (radio, tisk, splet) urejajo. Praktični del diplomske naloge daje vpogled v dve lokalni slovenski medijski hiši oziroma uredništvi, in sicer Novice d.o.o. in celjsko uredništvo ČZP Večer d.d., da se ugotovi, kako konvergenca vpliva nanju, njune vsebine in zaposlene.

Title:CONVERGENCE OF LOCAL MEDIA. CASES OF NOVICE D.O.O. AND LOCAL EDITION OF ČZP VEČER D.D.
Abstract:Theoretical part of this paper looks at media convergence. Convergence in the context of media refers to the technology driven unification of different media channels. For many years different media were clearly separated but the Internet and other digital methods of distribution have changed that. Different types of media are converging, are adopting new forms (formats) such as web reports and website video, and are often used by journalists in their work. Media houses are also introducing new online media (e.g. radio, press, web) and editors manage them. Practical part looks at two local Slovenian media houses or editorial offices Novice d.o.o and Celje Editorial Office of ČZP Večer d.d. (Večer Newspaper) and describes the effect convergence has on them, their content and employees.
