Abstract:V diplomskem delu smo preučili in predstavili globalni sistem določanja položaja, razvoj mobilnih omrežij, omrežje GPRS in standard NMEA 0183. Pridobljena teoretična znanja in praktične izkušnje pri programiranju smo nato aplicirali na praktičnem primeru, ko smo opisali in prikazali razvoj strežniške in uporabniške aplikacije, ki omogočata sledenje vozil s pomočjo naprave GPS. Aplikaciji smo razvili v okolju .NET, natančneje v programskem jeziku C#.

Title:TRACKING VEHICLES WITH A GPS DEVICE IN APPLICATIONS IN THE ENVIRONMENT .NET
Abstract:In this thesis, we studied and presented the global positioning system, mobile network evolution, network GPS and standard NMEA 0183. The acquired theoretical knowledge and practical experience at programming were then applied with an practical example when we described and showed the developement of server and user application which enables to follow vehicles with the help of GPS. The application was developed in the environment .NET, accurately in program language C#.
